From PFT:

Patriots likely to have league’s best haul of compensatory picks

"The highest compensatory picks are in the third round, and New England is expected to be the only team with two third-round compensatory picks. Those picks, which are being awarded to the Patriots for losing Trey Flowers and Trent Brown in free agency, are likely to be the 97th and 99th overall picks in the draft. The Patriots are also expected to get two sixth-round compensatory picks, for losing Malcom Brown and Cordarrelle Patterson."

two 3rd rounders they can trade would be delicious!

Seems like the third round is a good place to target a tightend as well.

End of 3rd round will be too late. The league is targeting TEs now and only 4 top TEs are available, the guy whose name begins with O, Pinckney, Breeland, Parkinson. Can the Patriots get back their second rounder for that Rutgers WR?

& the thing is BB used to love drafting TEs, even expending picks on Watson when he already had Graham. He really stopped drafting them after the Gronk class. It’s been forever since we had a 1st or 2nd day TE.

Rigged?

Would have been nice to trade a 3+4 for Emanuel Sanders and a 5th

.

This is a great example of coaching em up. Trent Williams was not this good til Scar helped him out. I also don’t feel Flowers becomes this good in too many other organizations.

From what I’ve seen, this tightend class is much weaker than past seasons, and it is possible that no one goes before mid round two.

There's no top end guy, but a bunch of 2nd rounders. Obuk., Pinckney, Breeland and Parkinson probably a 3rd rounder

So we are giving them up in spygate 2.0?

I want "O", just so I can enjoy future posts that mangle or creatively dodge his name :D

Kmet & Hopkins.

Also we have other picks

The expert on the radio said we have a deal in place to trade our 3rd to Tampa for tight end smith.

Knowing we got useless Sanu for 2nd rounder, don’t have much hope for what we can trade for 3rd

Most important draft since 2010, we need a good one if were gonna bounce back.
