Nice. I would love to go, but I am in a self imposed playoff exile from Gillette. I have been to two home playoff games and they didn't go so well. It was 2009 & 2010. In fact I have been to 8 or 9 home games and they have lost all but one, Miami and they had to come back from 20 down on Christmas eve. I was at the wildcat game in 2008 and the Eagles game in 2015.

Needless to say my presence in Foxboro on game day is not appreciated. I am undefeated tailgating at Super Bowls though.

Jokes aside, I really recommend the Best Western in Sharon, Mass. My wife and I stayed there for the Cowboys game and they provided a shuttle for $10 per person (both ways). Mind you the drop off and pick up was a 5 minute walk from the stadium. That was lots of time to finish off my special bottle of "pop"

Rain when the temp is just above freezing is worse than a dry day in the 20's.
Overall I think it works in our favor ... or perhaps I am just hopefully creating that image.

I know some folks that rent a room there on game days just so that they have a place to park and use a bathroom/warm up while tailgating in the parking lot. They've never been brave enough to spend the night.
