Nice Read - One more ride for Tom Brady in New England, then nothing promised

Nothing promised is about the right thing to assume, and furthermore right on point to say that nobody knows what will happen, including BB or Brady.

Here's what I'm pretty sure is going to happen: BB is going to play hardball and let Brady hit the open market and explore his options (same thing BB did with Hightower, et al), but will not offer more than a team-friendly deal, and only for one year, if anything.

A few franchise are going to throw everything they have at him, and not just that- but a multi-year deal which would no doubt be tempting in terms of security as far as Brady's goal of playing until he's 45 (which I very much doubt will happen).

Does Brady take the security of a multi-year deal and go somewhere and start from scratch? Or does he stay home and take a lesser deal for just one year at a time?

Or does Kraft interfere? He didn't interfere this year or do anything about Brady's expiring contract.

IMO, the possibility that Brady is playing his last home game tomorrow is very real.

I don’t think it hope s this way with Brady. He wants to stay in New England so he will see whether he can live with what they offer. But if he goes on the FA market, he will negotiate it so that he will co tell the offense and/or have the team sign at least one stud, like Antonio Brown. Once those discussions take place, which will require a lot of commitment from the team he talks to, there is no going back.
I’m looking at Chicago and the chargers

If I had any pull, I would take Tom to the beach and give him some lobstah.
Problem would be solved! (That is IF he even eats lobstah.)

If he does NOT join another club, we could re-name the stadium after him.

Wouldn't BB > Jints be more likely in that scenario?
Or have they already signed a coach & locked in their GM. I dunno.
He's always liked that org. It's not far from Nantucket.

You would think, although the other premise is the fact they think Jones would break the bank for him. But you're right, that's the scenario that I would think would make more sense given how much love he has for that organization.

Too much speculation this season regarding Brady and Bill. Why can’t we just concentrate on the game at hand and deal with all this after the season is over.? The one that is most likely gone is Josh .
