Saturday night could be TB12's last time wearing patriots uniform

So let me get this straight.
You believe Brady is leaving New England because the organization doesn’t know how to put together a winning team. So he is going to the chargers?
What drugs are you on today?

Figures that your handle would be 6 rings as if winning yesterday applies to today.

Furthermore, you dont watch the games? You dont see how WRs are not getting open?

Don't remind the Patriots Scouting Staff who should be embarrassed. The the perfect year to double dip at the WR position but let's select a CB who lead the league in DNP's.
Just horrendous team building. You’re right : I wish we were more like the 2019 Titans !

Here are some of the non-Patriots SB participants / winners in the 2010s :
2018 Rams
2017 Eagles
2016 Falcons
2015 Broncos & Panthers
2014 Hawks
2013 Hawks & Broncos
2012 Ravens & 49ers
2011 NYG
2010 Steelers & Packers

half of those SBs included NE. Almost all of those teams became pure crap afterwards. No one other than NE won more than once. Most teams never even sniffed the SB.

Pick and choosing gripes re WRs over the sustained excellence in NE is incomprehensible. The most AWFUL recent year is this season. An alltime embarrassing 12-4...

I hope that one day, for Triumph and others, NE gets an AJ Brown. Won’t matter if they are barely above .500 cause they’ll have their young WR. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

The fan base is in transition (Patriot fans and Brady fans) and having difficulty coping with a potential Brady-less Patriots team in 2020.

He's interwoven into the fabric of many posters fandom and it's very difficult to imagine life without him.

It's akin to learning the family dog of 15 years needs to be put down.

Oh man this is a sad analogy (albeit a good one).

Ok so I will mark you down as a believer that the chargers are better at building a winning team than the patriots as soon as I stop laughing at you.

There are people on this board who think all QBs would rather have stats than rings. While it might indeed be true of some (AR), I choose to believe many QBs want rings.

People look back at Elways’ helicopter and Montana’s long drive. They rarely stare into the distance and contemplate the great numbers Marino put up...

If Brady is not here next year, he's retired.

You believe that the patriots have had a great record at acquiring TE's in the last decade?
It seems that we are looking for one or two every year.

No the question was the patriots history in building a team and addressing needs. The lame response was “how did they adddress we and te this year” as if that would dispute the undeniable great record the team had in doing so.

Yes, this is the wish of many patriot fans: that if Brady won't accept the likely lowball offer from the patriots, then he should retire.

If Brady is not here next year, he's retired.

I think he probably gets sentimental in a few years and has one of those “I still got it!” moments like Mulan’s dad had in the Disney movie “Mulan” and puts the old uniform on, goes to throw a ball, and THEN his arm falls off right out of the socket leaving blood pouring out from his shoulder all over his 49ers jersey collection so NOBODY even KNOWS

I know all this hand-ringing is absurd, but if they do lose, it will be tough watching Brady walk off Gillette for possibly the last time. No getting around that.

I am saying that the patriots are the best in the nfl at building a winning roster and addressing needs.
I don’t know how this is disputable.
We are all aware they haven’t won 20 consecutive SBs so they are not perfect.

if you want to believe that Tom Brady is going to leave the patriots because they can’t put a winning team on the field so be will go to the chargers because they can, be my guest.

The oft repeated claim that the WRs never get open is not so easy to sustain when you watch the A22.

Oh no, this could be the last time we see Tom lead us to victory at home...

We’d be fortunate to win this game

It appears that the Patriots selected Drew Bledsoe with their first pick in the 1993 draft. Bledsoe was the QB for eight years. Played in a few games in 2001. Got hurt. Then Brady played 18 of the next 19 years. He was injured in 2008. Cassell put up decent numbers that season. 11-5 record.

Watching bad QB play, assuming that is the case in 2020, would be a first for a generation plus of Pats fans. Only GB fans can say they've gone nearly 30 years without a terrible QB.

This seems right. But what seems really odd is the notion that they can just lose Brady and slide Stidham in as the QB and keep the dynasty humming. Stidham is not Steve Young replacing Joe Montana.
