R.I.P.

Has to be in the top 5 for greatest sports commissioners ever.

Always liked Stern. NBA was already on the uptick with Bird and Magic when he took over but things really accelerated under his watch. He realized how important marketing was and did a tremendous job selling the league and helping make it a global product.

RIP and condolences to his family.

Should be remember as one of the best commissioners of an American sport.
Have we lost any other famous people in 2020 yet, or is he the first?
Been 2020 for less than a day and we already lost one.
Shula will be 90 on Saturday.

RIP. Wish him family well

No question.

I have major issues with Stern but I'll save it for another time.
I thought we would have to wait until this day for the ridiculous 2-3-2 format which ruined the Finals to finally (sorry) be stopped.

Former New York Yankees star Don Larsen has died. I wasn't born when he pitched the perfect game in the world series and I hate the Yankees.

David Stern's NBA: when the Diva became more important than the Team.

2-3-2 is dumb but not on my top 3

RIP. Stern= golden ages of NBA.

Best wishes to his family. RIP David.

Anxiously awaiting your sharing it

David was clearly genuinely liked by Bill Russell, among others, so best wishes for him and his family.

And you know, there are a lot of terrible commishes, so it's not like we're picking on him.

So! I'm all ears. Ready when you are. Thanks in advance.
I'll save it for another time.
Any time will be great
