Every year the Browns have a "HC setup to fail" position available for hiring, I don't know why any serious coach well positioned in the market like McDaniels would go to that dumpster fire.

The only way he is going to interview for that job is if they lose on Saturday. I can't see the Pats allowing that kind of distraction with an elimination game looming on Saturday. Kind of sets up a perverse incentive for Josh to replicate the game plan from Week 17.

If Josh leaves I thank him for all he’s done in his time here. To me if josh has aspirations of becoming a HC leaving now is the right move for him as I think he sees that he’s not going to be the next HC here when Bill calls it quits.

Kellen Moore really upped Prescott’s game did you watch many Dallas games they were ran way more competently.
Their were new routes and plays masked to look like other plays.
O’Connell knows our system a bit and has familiarity with BB.
Haskins got better which is what you want to see.
Who else should we look at
Pete Carmichael and Dan Campbell will not be available.
O’Shea is with the Dolphins Daboll with Buff please tell me where you would go for a OC?

The next OC will be someone internal unless there is a wildcard like Bielema was for the DL available. This is not about some fancy name but continuity for Brady.

I am looking at the very real possibility Tom isn’t there.
We can talk about receivers sucking and not getting separation cool but we can also talk about Tom throwing ducks and uncatchable balls for most of the game.
BB saw what happened with Jimmy G he wouldn’t let there happen again and if Josh leaves so will Tom Not having Josh as a sounding board he will leave.
Big changes ahead so get ready for names like O’Connell and Moore because it makes sense.

Late this afternoon I was listening to “Moving the Chains” with Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller when a Giants fan called in to ask them about the Giants’ coaching vacancy. Kirwan answered that the Giants needed an experienced coach and mentioned Mike McCarthy before saying “and we’ve all heard the rumors out there”. It was obvious he was talking about Belichick mentioning “trading for a coach on another team” to the caller.

Kirwan is a creditable guy who worked with Belichick with the Jets. I don’t think he would have mentioned the “rumors” if he didn’t give them some credence at least.

I have a really bad feeling about this Saturday's game. Last time this happened really felt like McDaniels coasted into coaching a playoff loss before he bolted for Denver. Deja Vu again.
