You people kill me.TB is injured and you're crucifying him. He's been hurt for weeks. He was still shaking that elbow this week in practice. He still put our team in the lead with less than 4 minutes left in the game but our D crapped itself.

Oooooh, my bad. So let’s continue to trot out an injured 42 year old QB headed into the playoffs for FOUR quarters because his elbow is injured. Let’s do so for FOUR quarters.

It’s either not injured as badly as you are making an excuse for him, or he’s was just playing terrible. Not hard to comprehend.

Stop. Just freakin' stop.

Brady didn't cost the Patriots the game. This game was lost by the defense.

I get that Brady’s arm is injured, but with no bye it’s not gonna get better, and it feels like an injury that has taken a long time to recover from, perhaps longer than it should. Do you want to go into next year spending another massive portion of your cap on him when such injuries may be more prone to causing these issues to linger long-term? He’s not bad by any stretch but his age is catching up to him in these smaller sorts of ways that ultimately have a large impact. It wouldn’t be as big of a deal if they had great WRs or a great OL but they don’t have either at the moment. Next year is another year worse re:age but Brady will be more expensive.

I’m not saying I personally believe Brady could or should be let go, I’m just thinking out loud. Lots of factors. If he were to leave, that’s a sizeable amount of money you can use to support his replacement and maybe help extend/re-sign some of the core pieces you need to keep.

Even if Brady plays elsewhere, there will be cap implications next year and the year after. If I remember correctly, it’s something like $13 million next year and $6 million the year after in dead cap.

Then he shouldn't be playing.
In what world doesnt this make sense ? I must have missed the kneel downs before half. They tried to catch the Dolphins with a draw, they were prepared and made it a negative play which meant you will have to throw which in turn stops the clock on an incompletion and gives Miami another shot.

They did everything by the book given the ball was theirs after the break. Just breathe out and think it through.

They had 1:50 and 3 timeouts.

That is not the time to do that.

I can understand if you're at .55 seconds, but they had a whole minute more.

No urgency. That series counted.

Not to mention they ran on 3rd down in the first series after the half.

I do not know if 2020 Tom Brady will be worth $25 million.

I know that people will be pissing and moaning about the offense, but the defense allowed 17 second half points to that Dolphins team.
I don’t even know what to say about that. The last drive was just sad. For a season built on defense, they fell flat at the very last, most crucial moment.

You guys really need to start looking on the bright side. We have Patriots football in one week instead of having to wait two weeks for it. Plus, it gives the team more opportunity to practice to get things right. Everything is great.
You're being sarcastic but this is low key something I'm kinda excited about. Wanna see them play, and hopefully actually get a playoff win rather than wait two weeks for them to **** the bed

This team has some serious flaws in terms of personnel due to injuries, but the defensive struggles today were entirely a matter of poor intensity.

The whole defense and especially the secondary looked pretty casual out there. Missed tackles, poor coverage, just generally uninspired and playing off their back foot, not dictating play.

The offense is what it is: they’re not great due to personnel limitations.

But we should expect a lot more from the defense and they were very disappointing today.

Very surprised they did not mix up the defense more. Kept bringing a ton of pressure while Fitz kept beating it with the quick slants. Defense unable to recover that fumble ended up being the ball game.

Jules obviously not himself and it hurt the offense big time.
Cannot remember the last time the Pats had a decent punt return - seems like they just play it too safe.
We're all stunned with the outcome - now rooting for the Steelers to sneak in as I think that is best matchup.

You wont get any traction right now. He wasnt great, but he delivered in the final minutes for the lead, and the defense vanished.

These people are literally retiring Brady right now.

The defense was for sure a part of it, but stop making excuses. This offense is terrible and has been all year long. Yes, Brady had a large part in that, injured or not.

We've gotten beaten pretty badly by some really bad teams last year during the regular season. Look how last year turned out. Disappointed in this loss and this season hasn't really gone well, at least on offense.

But we are in the playoffs. We have an extra game and some tough opponents. We got Tom freaking Brady and Belichick, who have shown time and time again to not count them out. A difficult road ahead of us, but a real champion can overcome difficult obstacles.

Four Games To Glory sounds nice. Let's goooo Pats!!!!

That’s my point, yeah. That’s a lot of money and then if you pay him, you may not be able to pay Thuney so he’s gone - your OL ends up weaker potentially (assuming Andrews can come back, if not then that’s even worse) and Brady is less mobile, more injury-susceptible and such injuries resulting from that worse line will linger for longer.

The penalties... OMG, the penalties!!!!

We are going to make Ryan Tannehill millions and millions of dollars next week

They need to let Brady retire or leave via FA,See what Stidham can do next year

Gilmore was fantastic this year, but that has been the knock on him in the past. He certainly looked nonchalant today out there.
