So the 2020 NFL season becomes, "Tank for Trevor"?

The Pats need to make a draft day trade with some patsy and hope that they end up with the #1 pick. The timing is perfect, Brady plays two more years and Lawrence gets to sit his first year and watch how to win.

Easy call to make, man. He’s looking at his man the whole time. Even if Olave didn’t fall, there would have been a man in the area.

Yeah you have to figure that he was telegraphing his throws in a bad way, what with Clemson dropping 4-5 INT's before finally catching the last two.

Lawrence is amazing! Best player in college football and he is only a true sophomore.

And he already has a national championship under his belt and is in another national championship game.

And only halfway through his college career.

I was wondering if plenty of time to study this game would highlight some weaknesses in the Clemson D that OSU and/or LSU would take advantage of. Perhaps it did. Clemson players talked about UVa's offensive game plan causing them to hesitate on their decision making for the first time all season. The difference in talent overcame all that in this game, but that won't be the case against LSU.

Despite being routed, Virginia managed to do to Clemson what...

The Buckeyes never seem to have the better QB.

Isnt Dobbins the best RB in the country?

Clemson was the first NFL caliber run defense that Dobbins faced and he held his own.
OSU has never been short on RB talent...but great point about the QB position.

Lawrence is impressive holy cow, had no idea he had that kind of speed. He takes a beating and keeps fighting. He’s going to be a superstar.

His ankle injury was the difference

I am not a true OSU fan as I have no claim besides paying taxes that help support the team, but I thought the game shifted on a couple huge officiating plays:
-The overturn on the catch/fumble/scoop TD
-The DPI call that gave Clemson their first offensive progress.

it didn’t leave me with the same anger as did the Chiefs loss (Harry TD/fumble whistling play dead) but you could feel a blow out being pulled back into a close game.

Me neither. I have no rooting interest. I was never a big believer in OSU but am in Dobbins. He's unreal.

The plays you mention were big ones

The Pats are missing the boat.

Buckeye WRs Mike Thomas looks to be a first ballot HOFe and Terry McLaurin if off to a damn good start playing on a bad team.

The Buckeyes are always crying about the Refs out to get them.

I dont blame the Refs for the Pats loss either. Bad calls even out. The Pats D did a poor job stopping Mahomes. Even reversing those 2 bad calls, I had barely any confidence that the Pats could stop KC from the endzone. Reid took his foot off the gas too and played conservative at the end.

yes and so did Watson when he was there

If Lawrence wins the 2019 Championship he surpasses Watson with another season to go.

Rivals bills Lawrence as the best prospect ever.

You conveniently left out the 2 INT's that Fields threw. Should have been like 4-5 but Clemson kept dropping them.
