Looks like the GDT toxicity found itself an overflow tank here.

Sanu career average game 3.4 catches for 38.3 yards.
Sanu patriot average 3.3 for 26
Why are we surprised?

Smart thinking... let’s judge a guy after 5 weeks in the system. It never takes time to learn and contribute. Harry is a bust as well look at his first 12 weeks.

I still think he hasn't fully recovered from his ankle injury and hope this 10 for 81 wasn't a fluke...

I am still hoping he will get better , I think he is injured more than he is letting on.

Sanu was the reason Harry's jet sweep failed at the end of the first half. He didn't even try to block the defender allowing N'Keal to get tackled on 4th down. This allowed Buf to get the ball back and score at the end fo the half.... Even a half heartwd block and Harry gets the first down...

That’s a shame, because up until now, his blocking was pretty much the bright spot of his play.

I was confused by what Sanu was thinking there. He was trying to block the guy on the second level even though he had one guy lining up directly across him and we only needed like half a yard.

What does an ankle injury or not knowing the offense have to do with exentending your arms passed the first down marker? I am not exaggerating when I say I cannot in recent memory recall a player having such an easy opening to extend for it and give some lame, half assed attempt. What does the ankle injury or playbook have to do with the following play where he idiotically blocked the wrong guy? He really wasn’t aware on a 4th and 1 what his job was? It wasn’t obvious? Both plays show inexcusable situational awareness.

How many catches has he made that were difficult in any way?

That’s right...10 catches on 14 targets for 80 yards against Baltimore. Forget that his efficiency (yards per target) is near Dwayne Allen range.

Meyers is so much better, attacking the ball, fighting for extra yardage...he’s hungry to prove his can make it in the league...Sanu looks like he can’t wait to get out.

FWIW I think it's a teaching point by BB not to extend the ball forward because it exposes the ball and can lead to fumbles.

I think this was a scenario where he probably should of extended it anyway given down and distance.

I think you’re talking about the blind lunge towards the end zone where there are multiple defenders, not this type of play where you’re isolated against one player and merely have to reach six inches. He did finally reach it out as he was moving backwards and the window had closed. The guy just plays like a rookie with baffling situational mistakes. I was expecting a guy who wasn’t explosive but did all the little things right. This guy is pretty much just yet another WR3 who has less upside than either rookie and doesn’t do the little things it takes to win. Every 50/50 ball is a battle he loses, and he doesn’t even attack the ball. Always breaks the wrong way and hasn’t picked up the playbook. Realize it’s complex, but he’s a veteran. Gordon picked it up very quickly.

Had another look at the 4th down play... If Sanu blocks the CB that's directly in his face there is only one player between Harry and the EZ.
That's a potential 14 points swing.

I think that would have been 6. When Harry gets going he is a bully ball in the open field.

Sanu looks like he's cashing a check and not much else.

Hes definitely been a disappointment. Because of the high ankle sprain I can understand his inability to move and block. That being said but he doesn't have a High Wrist sprain so I don't get all the drops, he suppose to have really good hands.

Sanu is going to make several huge catches in the fourth quarter of one or more playoff games.

When he does, I’m gonna quote this post, and I better get multiple “Likes” “Winners”, and “Geniuses”!!!

I don't think this coaching point is limited just to goal line. But I also agree there are situations where you just have to take that risk. And this most definitely was one of those times.
