yeah well this time unfortunately I think the other fans have a right to say it because of our great leader Robert Kraft’s incompetence. Why did he sanction this knowing full well that all teams have an eye on us and so does the NFL. So why send a guy with a camera to video tape the sidelines! For a dumb Do your Job series! Seriously. How moronic can you get? I can’t believe this is happening. The whole cheating narrative had died down but no - Kraft first gets caught getting a Happy Ending and now his folks get caught video taping the sidelines of our next opponent in an area where it’s banned. Total incompetence !

Like, the guy can't go and take a dump? I mean, this is Soviet Union type level stuff here, all over the fact Goodell lied about Spygate to make it seem sinister to steal our draft pick for Woody Johnson's demands.

Kraft paid Woody a 1st rd pick for BB. Basically, the Krafts need to start getting ready to threaten to unload the entire backstory of the genesis of all this. Because this is what this really is.

The thing that works in NE's favor, outside of the obvious truth, is we have witnesses in this one. If Cleveland is truthful and all the witnesses are truthful, this will be easily corroborated, not to mention whatever footage Kraft Productions has on hand for previous work.

The Browns, NFL personnel, etc. People were right there. And the fact this is not the football ops people, Cincy is 1-12 with a coach who will be fired in another year, etc.

None of this points to any guilt. It's pretty obvious a small fine for a minor protocol violation (at best), is all this could be.

When the Ravens actually put thought into TWO headsets on D, as their football ops set up, and they get a 200K fine for it, this is the sort of stuff the media and Kraft need to focus on.

why would it be a decent penalty? First the footage is for Kraft Productions for their website, etc they do not interface with, report to or share anything with football operations

secondly, several former players and coaches have already shown examples of All-22 film that shows the exact same stuff

And there was no actual competitive advantage that could have been had from the film anyways

Similar to colts fans, lots of people want the NFL to actively cheat and put the Pats at a huge disadvantage so the rest of the league can keep up with them.. it’s the only way they have any shot at hanging with the pats, so rather than improve their organizations and compete, they would rather manufacture scandals to create distractions and public disdain for them, and try to strip draft capital to continue to choke their talent stream

it’s gotten quite pathetic, but what do you expect with organizations like the Jets and Colts... the smelly dumpster fires of the league desperately trying to stay relevant

What's disturbing is how obvious it is (I even seen Pats Haters admit it), but how the media, the truth telling entity of our society (supposedly), refuses to state the obvious, cite all the facts and back them.

They ignored it with Spygate and Deflategate, too.

I would imagine there are honest fans out there not even on these kinds of boards, who can see right through Goodell's facilitated cheating approaches.

Folks, this is a hit job on the Patriots, first and foremost.

I'm not saying the Patriots have no responsibility at all, but I do believe that it must have been clear to the people in Cleveland that issued permission that this was a documentary series and that the people were contracted out and might need a quick overview of where they can set up and what they are allowed to film. Seems like someone at the stadium would let them in the stadium and help them get situated. It's strange to me and unfortunate.

There's a rumor floating around, Cleveland said or did nothing regarding the shot, hoping this would be the thing.

I am not buying it, but it's possible.

We know AFC teams colluding with Goodell is a proven thing.

It's just sad that adults act this way, both in the NFL offices and other teams, players and their fans that don't pay attention to the facts. They all just ride the ESPN propaganda wave to make themselves feel better about not winning as consistently as NE. Shouldn't be surprised, I guess I would hate NE too if I wasn't a fan, just like my hate for MFY. I just laugh about it now because it doesn't ever make things better to engage with the haters.

I agree. Honestly, I see it as a serious problem in our society tied to passive-aggressiveness, being able to hide behind technology, and bullying as well.

You could easily argue Goodell is facilitating inter-office bullying towards NE.

I dont think they sent anyone there to tape the sideline, it was a stupid kid who didnt know better when the guy in charge was taking a dump. Just a stupid snafu all around that could have been avoided if the producer would have filled the kid in to the rules.

If it's footage that is easily obtainable with the all 22, doesn't it seem farfetched that they are running a fake documentary cheating scheme? Especially considering we have seen the documentary released before..

Last time the videos were played for the entire media and sports world, and casual fan, to see, before being destroyed. “Destroying” a digital video (lol) was an attempt to show the Patriots no longer had these videos, not an attempt to conceal some greater conspiracy.

Yet last time it was on Fox too.

Amazing how people don’t remember even basic facts and continue to repeat just plain incorrect narratives. This isn’t an opinion...it’s what actually happened.

Patriots fans want this video played in entirety...not just a 20 segment which is clearly the most “gotcha” part of the tape and was released for propaganda. Why leak just a tiny part of video where the cameraman sounds shaky when you have access to the entire thing? We know the answer. Nothing new here...same old shtick from these loser teams. Jets, Bengals, Colts...crap franchises who have all cried to the league about some tiny infraction because it’s the big, bad Patriots.

That’s just because 97% of the general public (NFL fans) are jealous of the Pats. If the Jets had half the success the Pats have had, the narrative would be “ Why do the Jets always cheat..”. Except in that case, there would actually be a little truth in the statement.
