NFL has suspended Josh Gordon indefinitely

Adderall counts as a substance of abuse in the offseason and a PED during the season, even if it was being used as a party drug during the season.

That would be my best guess for the failed PED test here.

Further, on that point (tangently) doesn't the CBA allow Players/Agents announce what the PED they got popped for was, should they choose to?

Adderall is a common response.

Yes possible.

He might have been using again. We don't know.

considering he was suspended for both, i think its safe to assume at this point he was ... too bad too... hate to see it

Next stop for AB - Seattle?o_O

Somebody had to say it.

Have you seen AB's twitter feed the past few days?

He's warming up the Ford Bronco.........

It would not surprise me.

Has there ever been a team who lined up 2 starting WRs more dysfunctional than the ones who played for us in Miami?

I feel bad for him and the demons within himself. I know from experience how painful this must be for all involved. My husband had an addiction that took a long time to overcome though thankfully he was able to with a lot of support. I really hope Josh can overcome his .

First off, I doubted BB. I shouldn't have. I thought he was crazy for letting him go. But BB was right.

Secondly, I feel bad for Gordon. Unlike A.B, he seems like a quiet and humble guy. I know he wanted to succeed. This is just a sad situation.

Interesting. This time it's apparently PEDs as well as the usual substance abuse stuff.

So what do you know -- apparently unlike many geniuses here, the idiotic, clueless Bill Belichick may have had some idea that something was going on after all when he cut Gordon.

Good for you, using someone else’s troubles to insult others and pat the back of a football coach.

Yup.

Flash put up a 87/1646/9 split in 2013 in 14 games (6.2/118/.64 per game)
Mos put up a 98/1493/23 split in 2007 in 16 games (6.13/93/1.44 per game)

I stand by my statement.

Flash had an elite season no question. But the 23 tds give Moss the edge. It’s closer than I first thought looking at all the stats but i have to give Moss the edge on this one.

I take back what I said about wishing Belichick kept him

Sure are a lot of people saying they were wrong and Bill was right. Probably Kraft's fault.

I will always stand by Josh Gordon and to me he is a Patriots for life (barring he starts hurting people and then I will stop supporting him). I have suffered my own demons as well.I suffer from mental illness and I fight everyday. I am doing better this year, but sometimes still struggle. Josh Gordon isnt a bad man.. He has a good heart and I won't stop supporting him because he relapsed. My dad was an alcoholic too. Well, still is.
Question: Ho is I’ll you support her m
He has an obvious illness. Someone doesn't voluntarily go through several series of multi-month rehabs over several years just for the fun of it.

He struggled mightily for several years with this. He needs to get away from football and be in a longer treatment situation.

.
The habitual junky (sorry you can’t handle facts ) was......
GM Bill’s first solution at WR2 for multiple abbreviated seasons.
GM Bill’s second solution was a serial team wrecker
Third solution: a costly second rounder for a tortoise

Result: Brady was a 52% passer yesterday who relies on RB completions to get the % that high
Vs the worst team in football

That sucks to hear, hopefully he can get his life back in order for its own sake but I can't see him playing in the NFL again. Addiction is a disease, and I don't think anything else would be appropriate but to keep pulling for him and wish him the best.

Suspected/worried that something like this would come out when the Pats cut him, can only assume the last straw for them was related to this. Unfortunately, the only thing that's at all surprising here is that he got nailed for PEDs too.

Not to mention that Moss came within inches of a 24th TD that would have made the 2007 team the undisputed best of all time.

This is a terrible situation, I really wanted him to beat this and was rooting for him to succeed. I still hope for that, but at this point I think his career is done. Hopefully he gets the help he needs !!

If Samuel makes a catch that he makes 9/10 times or if they call an obvious hold on the tyree play we’re most likely talking about Randy’s td winning the game. A lot of what ifs on the last drive but sadly luck wasn’t with us that night.

The devil came back and reclaimed another soul after Josh snuck away for awhile on a recovery path - sad to see so many people are so weak out there including big name people like Josh

From a football standpoint, I'm glad he was cut. If we were relying on him right now, we would be in a world of trouble.

Too early is better than too late. Belichick knows. One of these days I won't question him on stuff like this.
