I'm not too sure about this PatsDynastyX2 guy.

.

You disputing the ratings have tumbled for the league is quite comical. I am sure everyone is enjoying you trying to rewrite history and what's happened.

You know who he is.

Yeah, yeah, I thought so too - - Andy Jameson or Ring7??????

Unless there is a worsening personal situation, I don't remember those first two cases to be so completely dense to try this trick of masquerading links.

Hopefully he can pull himself out of the downward spiral.

Felger says that he believes the Pats story but that he doesn’t think that the league will buy it.

Right, but the left of the bell curve portion of the population that makes up MOST Of the non-Pats fanbases, don't think he's lied.

They actually believe everything he says. It's sad and scary. Our whole society has become a bunch of walking ******s, generally speaking. They think facts end up on their smartphones while taking their morning dump.

It's actually not a bell curve, which measures the distribution of a continuous variable. It's more of a simple bar chart or if necessary a pie chart with two outcomes (Goodell lied vs Goodell told the truth).

Signed, college degree holder.

What does Jim Murray think?

The entire board waits with bated breath......

I expect a fine and probably a lost pick to go with it regardless of what the league thinks.

Pats documentary crew being banned from opposing stadiums wouldn’t surprise me either.

They had to go up considering how low they tumbled, but they're still not where they were pre 2016 when they started to drop. It's a simple fact and exactly what I've said above.

Again, they're misleading the reader with these reports. They're also comparing themselves to ONLY broadcast tv, which is ALSO misleading considering people are cutting cable left and right and watching Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.

Some of us work in the industry.

You're welcome.

If you worked in any media industry, you would know how to provide a link and you would know how pathetically inept your attempt to masquerade your typing doesn't fool anyone that it was not a link.

Here is your post verbatim:

"The NFL spin machine is a powerful thing. As a Pats fan, you should know that.

NFL TV Ratings Down Roughly 10% From Last Season
Overall NFL ratings for this season dropped by 9.7% compared to last season, according to data released by Nielsen on Thursday. This represents and even bigger slide than the 8% dip in ratings from 2015 to 2016.Jan 4, 2018"

By the way - - the last portion is dated Jan 4, 2018 - - that's the 2017 season. We have shown WITH ACTUAL LINKS that 2018 was up and 2019 is up again. In this day and age of wider dissipation of media sources, sports and entertainment, simply staying even is an incredible accomplishment. Nothing approaches the NFL.

.

I have a friend who is a Giants fan who still insists that the Patriots got fined for "taping practices".

It's annoying, isn't it? All because the Jets are so jealous they made an enormous blunder in promoting Parcells to GM and not realizing the whole thing should have been BBs.

Yeah, I don't think using SPorts Illustrated as a source is a bad one. Thanks.

How would anyone know - - you didn't link it???

Seriously Andy, is the problem getting that much worse?

Do you actually need a tutorial in how to paste a link in a post??????

.

That ain’t Andy.

I'm with you on 2 out of 3.

They won't take a pick away. They can't - - it's not football ops and there was obviously no malicious intent. When you have Felger and Breer saying the same thing about their hated Patriots, then you know the ballgame on a draft pick penalty is over.......

“Repeat offender”. Wouldn’t surprise me. They dragged Brady into court over two baby squirrel farts of air pressure in footballs.

Doubt it’s a first rounder though unless the tape is bad (then we will also see a suspension)

I bet the league could release it too. Hope so.

2016 is when the ratings had a drastic downturn. It's only been a little bit of a bump last year and now this year. But, they HAD to go up considering the drop off. Get it?

Meanwhile, you keep denying there was a huge ratings drop off the owners were ticked off about heading into the new CBA.

Absolutely ZERO of what I said is incorrect here. Have you been in a coma or just new to the NFL?

I never said it WAS NOT up again from the drop off years. What I did say is that is that compared to 10 years ago, the ratings are not as high as they once used to be.

In fact, the NFL has never seen a drop in ratings in decades until 2016. Another fact for you in the basement.

I am not going to google ratings drops/NFL and then choose any of the links. You can do that.

The problem is Goodell. We all know he is more than capable of making something up completely for the first time just to appease the Cheating Six (Jets, Ravens, Colts, Broncos, Steelers, Giants).

Whatever those teams agree on, is what our punishment will be.

Just listen to some of these people who have the buried anti-Pats venom just oozing from their pores. Their real feelings come out at times like these.

They ignore the facts and go right for the pitchforks, while they really should be asking the question as to how obvious and childish all of this stuff is with Goodell, what he's started and continues to enable instead.

When MLB has their issues for example, look at how differently it's handled by comparison.
