A Note to Bob Kraft

The fact that he’s kept the Cowboys as the #1 brand in maybe all of sports despite them being a train wreck for over 20 years is amazing.

He bought the team where the ownership was losing $1M per month. They are worth over $4B today.

He secured Fox as the primary channel for the NFC. And they regularly show the Cowboys as the featured game.

Increased television revenues have played a decisive role in securing the NFL's place as the world's richest sports league, with revenues of well over $10 billion per season.

Jerry Jones - Wikipedia

First three items seem to be things he's done for the Cowboys specifically, not the sport as a whole.

Last item seems to be arguing that he helped the league grow, but I'm not entirely sure that growth is always a good thing for the sport. For instance, Thursday night games have grown the league and increased revenue, but certainly hasn't been good for the sport played on the field.

Kraft hired BB, who was the hottest HC candidate after the massive upset against the Pats on MNF in 1999 and him slowing down Peyton Manning in both meetings that year.

Yeah, not sure how old you are but BB was not considered a hot candidate and really that hire came out of nowhere. I don't think many people thought this was a good idea.

Without Brady, BB probably has the same fate as Carrol did.

No need to act like Kraft is some genius. He got lucky getting BB who also got lucky by drafting the Goat. He’s been on auto pilot since.

You clearly missed what I was talking about with Jerry Jones.

......and without the Patriots taking him at #199, Thomas Brady is likely a pudgy, balding middle aged life insurance salesman in Northern California today.

So the most important person in New England Patriots history is, therefore, the late **** Rehbein.

Gawd, Kontra's question is mind-numbingly stupid. It's taken directly from the "Hawt Taykz" show with Shannon the Horse Face and Skip. Which parent do you love more?????

.

Just look at all the Your Mom Big Gay BS up in here.
I'm shocked yet another whiny self indulgent AB thread ended up like this...shocked I tell you

Brady could have gotten off with a slap on the wrist if he had only thrown the 2 equipment managers under the bus.

That's how rich people think. They want us to turn on each other.
They speak of loyalty and integrity, but they have none. They are morally bankrupt. Their only God is money.
Their greatest fear is to be cast down here with we Sodomites that have to work for a living.

Belichick and Brady are employees and therefore sacrificial. They are not members of the billionaires club.
We as fans mean even less. We are less than a bug splat on the windshield of their G6.
The billionaires will only react to anything that threatens the flow of money from the spigot of the NFL. To think they care one iota about the players, coaches, or fans is naive and ludicrous.

Brady is naive. He thinks Kraft is his friend. Kraft has already proven he will toss him under the bus in a nanosecond.
Jeruh Jones may be a rich scumbag, but at least he doesn't pretend to be something else.

You sincerely think Kraft doesn't care about Brady and doesn't consider him a friend?

Seems to me he puts in a fair amount of time pretending to be a legitimate NFL GM but hey that's just me. YMMV

Did they really f*ck up on the job? I mean really really really f*ck up?

Like, sent the equipment... which is in their job description... to the wrong city?

See because if a team is that incompetent, you know heads are gonna roll. I mean, you know that's a scandal, right? You know that team is looking at its own guys and saying how did you manage to let that happen?

Unless you're playing the Pats that week.

F** every. Single. one. of these whiny bastiches.

Everybody get this fact. Learn it, live it, love it. The Patriots are guilty until (and often after) proven innocent.

It is more likely than not that Goodell is generally aware of this popular dynamic. See what I did there?

Dude I’m probably in the top 5% most liberal people on this board and even I don’t believe all that.

His Dad thinks they treat him like crap.

Sorry I actually posted anger irrelevant to this thread, here. It's pretty decent bile though so I'll leave it there.

It’s been an angry week.

Hopefully the Bengals are on the receiving end of it on Sunday.

We should hand over the first interception - and there will be at least 1 - to the officiating crew, claiming it's underinflated.

Well it will be if the temperature is less than 50 degrees!

But was it fatuous and facile? :D

Maybe you should apply for the masseuse opening he has. You’d have to compete with shmessy and IllegalContact, both of whom are probably spamming the HR department’s inbox and flooding him with hand-written letters, but it could possibly work. Just a thought.

you sound angry

I just told you I’d take either of them over Kraft and that’s even after removing BB and Brady because Kraft is ultimately nowhere without them. They also aren’t getting caught in strip malls getting rub and tugs. There are more too. Owners that stay out of the football ops side of things are interchangeable and what’s important is the coach and QB. But the best owner is completely irrelevant to the topic and hand. It’s a red herring dropped because you’re either going to get roasted for putting a damn owner over players and coaches when it comes to who to thank for the run or you’ll ultimately have to concede my point. You’re stuck and can’t find a way out so you’re pretending like I didn’t answer your completely irrelevant question because you don’t know what to do.

Tick tock, shmessy. Either give me your rank order or tell me what you agree or disagree with regarding the one I set up for you (or mine). You’re not fooling anyone here.

Pats were selling out long before BB and Brady showed up.......sounds like you have very strong feeling about the owner even though you only ‘watch the game’
