I'm Finally Convinced: This is Brady's Last Year in New England

I’ve been convinced since he cut the price of his Brookline home and bought the Greenwich home. That’s why I wanted Brown back. This is the last chance for another championship with Brady and possibly the end of the dynasty.

This board doesn’t handle logical circumstantial evidence well.
Watch your back

You can potentially draw logical inferences from circumstantial evidence but it's hardly a guarantee or assurance of any particular outcome.

Well this thread should get interesting. I needed some more good news to get my mind off the latest Pats controversy!

Tom moving upward within the Best Buddies organization doesn't indicate much to me. The global ambassadors still have residences across the U.S. so there's no reason to assume that this decision necessitates any physical move by Tom.

Love ya Shmessy, but I'm with PatJew here - clickbaity thread title for a story that potentially means nothing. Not sure if this warranted a new thread ... do we have a Tom speculation master thread? If not, we should.

But Edelman is the new co-chair. Is Brady going to leave him?

LOL If you cant see BB isn't scared to get rid of anyone... Everyone on the page Should know that by now.. That said i wouldn't be surprised at all. It would not shock me 1 bit.

You guys are taxing me... there are only so many eye roll gifs.

I mean, I’m all the way back to Planet of the Apes here!!! o_O

Could just be going along with Giselle's wish that he reduce his time commitments as much as possible so that more family time is doable

I'm not as worried about Brady retiring/ moving on as most probably are, I'm probably one of the rare few that see something in Stidham at the end of the day he put up better rookie pre season numbers then JG and JB got reps over Hoyer and took his job knowing that If Brady got hurt they have more faith in Stidham than Hoyer obviously I don't want Brady to go but I don't see it as the end I expect Stidham to be more of a JG then JB and look at San Fran.

Brady to the Chargers is too good an opportunity to pass up.

If that offense stays intact, Brady could walk in put up big numbers again.

You must think that Brady has been very good this year and that none of their struggles are his fault. In my opinion, it is more likely that he will “fail” if he moves on to a new organization.....best case scenario is probably a playoff berth and early play off exit.

I don't want to think about him playing with another team! I would rather he retire than see him play elsewhere. I guess we will find out in March what his intentions are .

Not that I think it's impossible that he'll leave or anything--in my mind it's pretty much a coinflip at this point--but I'm confused as to why this of all things would be what made someone come around to the idea.

You are probably going to be very dissapointed.

It's quite simple - - - He's leaving the local chapter and taking on a roll that is global.

Cutting ties locally. No longer going to do the Harvard Stadium annual event that he's been hosting for umpteen years. He's handing that off to Julian Edelman and Jayson Tatum. He'll be doing events for Best Buddies in other locales.

That's a far bigger tell than just selling off a home (which he has done several times in the past). Leaving the local chapter and the people he's worked with for years on his annual event and (I believe, a bike race on the Cape) is a much bigger signal.

.

Like we would of been if we kept JG and Brady retired after 2017? I know it's comparing pre seasons but Stidham looked more impressive in his rookie pre season then JG with the stats to back it up, Stidham was a projected 1st rounder who winded up going to a worse college team thus his stock fell and based off his performance we might be in the clear.
