Yeah, the media definitely does. Mainstream sports media. And that is what most real people listen to and believe. That's a big part of how deflategate became what it did, but I feel like I could write a book on why i believe deflategate became what it did...

I had some friends today who are smart people in other facets of life (and aren't pats fans) talk about it, they definitely care and are saying the usual things about it affects brady and bill's legacy and our track record speaks for itself, etc etc.

And if you look at comments on basically anything on twitter (always a good way to find intelligent, level-headed takes of course), you can see pleeeeenty of people are back to screaming cheaters like it's 2015

Jim Miller and Pat Kirwin were actively mocking people who were crying about the "cheating". They even had the X Files theme playing for a bit. It was quite a rib tickler!

The Patriots have won SIX Superbowls. Tom Brady is the greatest QB evah and has a model wife and they are richer than Croesus.

It seems like the Patriots win every game every year this century.

And you dont expect most all other fans to hate us and find any reason to rationalize why they hate us?
