We are on to Cincinnati...

Nope, the Bills win the division. In that scenario....ASSUMING Buffalo goes 3-0...both of us would be 12-4 and 5-1 in the division...but the Bills would be 9-3 in the conference vs. our 8-4.

Basically,

W @ Cincinnati = #5 seed
W @CIN and BUF = AFC East Champion and #3 seed.
W @CIN, BUF, and MIA = #2 seed and a BYE

wrong. The tie breaker is common opponents after division record . If the pats win Sunday. All they need to do is beat Miami in week 17, even if the bills win out

@TB_Helmet you are exactly correct

This season just feels too much like 2015. Because it's Belichick and Brady, I will never count them out, but I don't feel confident at all. Something is wrong, I can't say what it is, but this team doesn't feel like it has "it".
They cant block and miss gronk and andrews in the run game.

Now we are 2-3 against winning teams....and 8-0 against everyone else.

We are 2-3 in our last five games over six weeks. 2-1 in November and 0-2 in December.

If we finish 2-1 with a loss vs. the Bills at Gillette, we are looking at playing on Wild Card weekend......maybe even on the road!

If we lose to the Bills and the Steelers grab the 6th and final spot...we will be 2-4 against all AFC play-off teams.....
Did you not get the text from Walgreens?

Preseason ends on January 20.

That is not true. Please do not assume winning during the playoffs is some sort of birth right because it is not.

It also diminishes the accomplishment of getting to 8 straight AFFCG, if you assume everything before that is a foregone conclusion. What this team has done the last ten years is HARD, and shouldn't be taken for granted.

He follows up by clicking "Funny". Front runner???

Would it really be better to 4-1 and 6-2?

LOL
The Bengals wish teams were so worried about them that they have to resort to cheating to compete with them.

The Patriots lost the AFC East vs the Jets in 2002 by this very tiebreaker. Packers game was the difference. Jets beat them we didn’t.

Mixon is a real NFL caliber running back. The defense better wear their big boy pants this Sunday.

Ok.

My point is that we are currently the #2 team in the AFC.

I don't think that we'd be a better team if we had lost to MIA and CLE instead of KC and HOU.

By the same logic, our opponents' records are their records....and we lose games to winning teams...

Last year we heard how losing to non-playoff teams just showed how lucky the team was to win against playoff teams. This year we hear that it will be impossible to do anything in the postseason because we lost to the AFC playoff teams.

It is always something. And as usual from cowards who hedge and rather pick the field than voice faith into a coaching staff that has shown again and again that they can right the boat just in time. Most probably because being right on the internet is more important than anything else. Gotta get that dopamin.

On to Cincy. Born and bred in New England and living in Midwest. Paul Brown Stadium is a lot cheaper than Gillette. Bought nosebleed seats, but thinking I’ll be behind Patriots bench by halftime. Want to tell future grandkids that I saw Brady the GOAT. For some of us, going to the Super Bowl is a given (I remember the Sullivan’s). Go ahead and rant about the anemic offense. Did you turn your TV off during the Super Bowl when they played the Falcons? I will be wearing my red Patriots cap and would love to meet Patriot fans in Cincinnati. I’m set for life if the Patriots do not get to the Super Bowl again. Although, I would not bet against these Patriots.

Pats were 0-4 or something like that against winning teams in the regular season in 2011 and they went to the SB

And Brown, and 2018 Mason and Cannon. They have had one OL.

Wynn is much better than Brown, but unfortunately we've only had him for so many games.
