I guess Kraft is the Schmuck for this incident, since it falls outside the football operations headed by BB.

If the nfl runs with this BB is suspended for atleast a year and we lose draft picks AGAIN and fined again.... Why the **** would you be this stupid yet again....

Fat Fred Kirsch is VP of Content and Publisher for the Patriots.

He should be fired.

Fire literally everybody there for gross incompetence, because anyone involved in okaying this without explicitly seeking NFL approval and having an NFL staffer on site to verify that everything was in the clear should not have a job. This is mind-bogglingly simple stuff.
That's a great point. Even if they had known the rules about what was and wasn't OK, they should have had arranged for an NFL rep to be there and watching a monitor so they could see nothing wrong was happening or could say “hey, you can’t do that.”

Rapoport says he believes it will be “something along the lines of a fine.”

Once again, not willing to believe this until I hear from Mort.

I'm fine with a fine...

I want that camera guy fired. All he had to do was his job. Nothing else.

I think the NFL and the Pats worked this out yesterday

Umm, actually that’s exactly what the NFL should do. What do you expect them to do? Not look at the tape? Seems like they are using a rational approach for once.
Yup. I’m of a different mindset than many here, I’m of the view that the NFL doesn’t want a scandal this time. And like all of us, they want things resolved as quickly and with as little effort as possible. So they just do basic steps:

Pats - “This was DYJ, it was an accident.”
NFL - ok, if tape shows things that you can get from anywhere else, we’ll believe you. If there’s stuff you can’t get anywhere else, we will dig in further to prove your football ops people have no involvement here.

seems like rational behavior for once.

But what does Sharks of Vegas think? :D

Who does Mark Brunnell believe?

"Leaning toward believing the Patriots version of events."
