NJ.com - How Belichick Could Return to the Giants

AB is definitely one of the worst things that has happened to the Patriots fanbase in a while. At least on this forum it's pretty ****ing insufferable that every time Brady throws an incomplete pass or we fail to pick up a 3rd down there's about 20 people rushing to turn the GDT into a Pro-AB public forum.

He leaves that trail. The Steelers and Raiders fan forums can attest.........

AB stands for Atomic Bomb........:D

.

New Yorkers (including those of the New Jersey variety; in fact, especially those of the New Jersey variety) can never wrap their minds around the idea that some people prefer living somewhere else. They think BB is pining away for New York, I think he likes it more than just fine in Foxboro and Nantucket.

This is a fantasy for a frustrated Giants fan looking at another in what is now a fairly long stretch of lousy seasons under the great and mighty "ThanksGrandpa" Mara.

Quite true.

BB is their Golden Fleece. It gnaws at them that he left them to become the greatest HC in NFL history and they can't let go of it.

I love watching that.

.

I’ve got news for you - it isn’t just New Yorkers. It’s the entire region of New England and Pennsylvania, too. All of them move down here and spend most of their time talking to anyone who will listen about how great it is where they came from. Hey assh0le, what are you doing down here then? Move back up there if it’s so great.

Get over yourself, it's only for the weather.

When they move there, they hide in gated communities because of "Florida Man".

If Somalia had 4pm buffets they move there too.

Belichick didn’t come to NE to coach a team, he came to NE to build an organization, and he’s been doing that for the past twenty years. He’s not going anywhere to coach a team, and he’s not going somewhere to start over at building an organization, which takes years to do. He will stay a Patriot until he retires.

Exactly - - I don't see him as a "turn around and leave 'em" artist like Parcells.

.

why turn the page when you can burn the book?

Position only accessible for my wife, sorry :)

So either Edelman/Sanu or Watson/LaCosse, eh? :D

My wife told me I had to put on some Shaq Mason the other day.

Fair enough,IT is your choice :)

I feel like this article was written at some points almost word for word the last time the job was open.

And lower taxes. The point is if you move from somewhere, then assimilate into that new state. You look like the biggest assh0le when you, at some point in roughly 90% of the conversations you have, talk about how awesome something was in your old state. But your explanation certainly explains Toojay’s in Palm Beach. I’m guessing you’ve enjoyed a nice meal there before?

We are moving from the NY metro to Jacksonville FL (the Riverside area in a 100-year-old house, not some gated loserville LOL j/k ;) ).

I guarantee you I will NOT be singing the praises of any state I have lived in (which includes 4 out of 6 New England states). We are PSYCHED to be Floridians!!!!

However, I may get a little out of sorts without good deli and bagels...

Epstein told me it was the BEST.

In the meantime, sounds like you are constantly bothered by those folks. Sorry to hear that. I went to a college populated mostly by out of state New Yorkers, so I know from whence you speak.

I’m off patsfans for 8-10 hrs and I come back to find rumors of Belichick leaving, reports that players in the locker room are fighting with each other, and an official statement from the team admitting that they unknowingly participated in a new cheating scandal. What the hell is going on right now?
Yeah it’s kind of a slow week....

The Volin piece cited by the NJ article is a mess. How do you talk about Caserio’s upcoming free agency without pointing out that he’s under contract until after the draft? A team that wants to hire him has to go through free agency and the draft without him.

Where in Riverside? That’s a beautiful area but borders on the west side so be careful. I almost bought over there before I found my house in Jax Beach.

My neighbor is one of them and he likes to talk all the time when he’s outside. Decent guy other than that, though.

I clicked on this, looked for evidence and saw the word "Volin". That's enough!

BB lives for football and he has more control in New England than he could have anywhere else except if he owned the team. So the only thing I can see that would have him moving would be a major falling out with RKK, or Jonathan if he took over. Until then, I'll worry about other stuff.

I will NEVER assimilate into the Seattle lifestyle. I cannot afford to return to New England but that does not mean I will ever love Washington.

Between being forced to trade Jimmy G and this business with “Kraft Productions”, BB can’t be to happy with his owner....

Basically equidistant from Avondale and Five Points... right off St. John's Avenue.
