Penalties being considered for the Pats - UPDATED 1/1/2020

Not necessarily, as there could be good reason for whatever the tape shows in terms of preparing a documentary on pro scouting.

This is what I fully expect to be the case.

Or ......like a billionaire is going to risk his national reputation to go get handies from Asian temptresses. Hilarious......preposterous
Never underestimate the ability of people to do something terminally stupid

Which has a better ring to it
Do Your Job-gate

or some derivation of Abscam.... like...
Patscam

I just hope no one saw the Pats drone hovering over the Bengals sideline

It’s baffling to me that a small percentage of Patriots fans have figured out that Kraft is stupid/senile or whatever word you want to use to describe his mental state. This was his production company trying to squeeze a few more million out of a documentary that probably won’t get made, since he was stupid enough to release Antonio Brown, because he was stupid enough to get an early bird hj at a mini-mall, and because he was stupid enough to get bent over in 2015 and accept a punishment for something his team didn’t do, and for apologizing like a guilty dog in 2007 for a minor infraction. How many stupid things must Kraft do before it becomes common knowledge that the guy is now a buffoon?

By the way, good job again on dropping those charges against the Texans for tampering...good thing they got no penalties and proceeded to smoke us on the field. Time to see for 500th time that being “a nice guy” is going to get you killed among these owners.

Has the whereabouts of Ernie Adams been determined by triangulation during the hours in question?

it has been reported that a man disguised in a Colonel Sanders outfit was spotted splicing wires near the CBS trucks in the belly of the stadium at approximately the same time Operation Do Your Job was unraveling

And why was Patriots 2 flying circular patterns over Cleveland stadium shortly after kickoff

BB and the team have both said it’s not legal to film the sidelines from the press box.
Doesn't that go against everything we've heard until now about approved filming locations? I must have read a million times since spygate that the press box is an approved filming location. (this happened in the press box, right?) Does anybody have the rule available?

Just to be clear, as I understand it, this is just part of the short video series the team has been putting out about franchise members behind the scene.

Here’s an example:

Do Your Job Episode 1: Equipment Staff

This isn’t the “Do your job” series that the NFL releases when we win a title.

The point being that, this documentary was absolutely going to be made, and given that previous episodes have been released, to believe the patriots cheated here is to also believe that this whole video series is just a front for a one time filming of the Bengals. Correct me if I’m wrong. But the context here is important.

Does Bob have a red hotline phone next to his booster seat in his suite to keep him abreast of all clandestine operations in motion?

When did he learn that Operation Do Your Job aborted unsuccessfully?

Did ground crew for Air Patriots help partially unload the KC Chiefs plane?

Was hosting the CBS chairwoman in his suite at the game an attempt to create an alibi or a clever diversionary tactic?

Bob did seem a bit distracted when CBS cameras legitimately filmed him Sunday PM

This really seems to be the talking head consensus. This does not have a deflategate feel. Surely by this time the NFL knows which it is.

Yeah, it would be like reporting a story that someone from Alabama was seen filming the sidelines of Western Carolina. Really? Is that really the team they decided they needed an extra boost against?

Have you not been paying attention to NE’s offensive offense?

I am curious about that as well as that is what I have read.

Funny how great minds think alike. Just the other day I was searching through Netflix hoping to find a documentary on NFL advanced scouting

Yeah, people were even calling it "location-gate." Was all that pro pats propaganda we were reading on friendly sites?

I hope the Bengals Media Relations person didn’t discover the Patriots’ Nano Frequency Interceptor hidden in the Chick Fil-A bag under the counter of the media booth

In 2007, the press box was an approved location. See Section V part D here:

If there's any violation in this current situation, it's either because the rule has changed since then (as a number of rules did after 2007), or perhaps you have to get approval from both teams or something. Who knows.

The Patriots statement managed to make this worse. What a season.

Y’all actually care haha who gives a **** what they did or what idiot fans think.

Some forum members revealing their true colors. Did you not just watch an overblown act of gamesmanship 12 years ago sully the reputation of this team in a disgusting way, followed by dozens of false, bs allegations by whining losers? Belichick has never lied about anything. He told the truth about “Spygate” which is exactly what Mangini did to him. He told the truth about there not being a taped walkthrough of the Rams, and guess what happened when Matt Walsh claimed he had the tape and it was time to produced it? He told the truth about “Deflategate” while we had people just like this calling him an idiot for ruining their legacy, etc. Show me one time he has lied about any type of wrongdoing.

Did you miss deflategate? We had fools in here wishing we lost the super bowl if the accusations were true. Think of how idiotic that is

I have trouble believing that statement was properly vetted. Imagine a lawyer advising Kraft to publicly concede liability, and use words like "inappropriate" to describe the actions of the film crew. Heck, imagine anyone advising him to do that.

I would just love it if BB went off on Goodell once after the Pats get the inevitable punishment handed down. For the love of God just do it once. Ask what in the world a guy with an arts degree is doing at the head of one of the largest businesses in the world. Maybe throw in a comment about that time Goodell pretended to be a lawyer in a tv interview.
