So why specifically did they choose the Bengals to do this against? Why not do it against someone else?
Because if that tape is damning then do you honestly believe this is first time we have done this? Again, IF the tape shows the camera stealing signals in a way it looks suspicious we are screwed. This will be talked about along with our other scandels and we will be crucified.

Again, it depends what the tape shows. If it shows signal stealing then we are cheaters in this case, period.

It doesn't matter. They did it.
See: Spygate, Deflategate.
We get no pass anymore.

Might as well get "Cheater" tattooed on my F'n forehead

It's over.
Cheaters for life.
Done.

F'n idiots.
I'm embarrassed.

These Bastards used us
Listen man, We are All Patriots.

Wow, this team and ethics at times....
We hire the worst of the worst at times I swear.

Bottom line is what’s on that tape matters a lot. Hopefully we get to see it.

Clearly they know the Red Rifle is back.

“Without knowledge of league rules” sounds benign to me and nothing like the team statement. I hope that is the case and the tape is nothing like the spygate tape.

Not sure I follow - the team statement: “without specific knowledge of league rules” sounds just like that.

So your theory is they paid all this money to this crew the whole year to steal from the Bengals? And steal what? As Geoff Schwartz has pointed out, there are no signals.

Huh? No, I didn't propose any such theory. I should have quoted the posters I was responding to about a hypothetical situation. I didn't anticipate the emotional backlash it'd provoke..

It happens with more frequency than that. If you want to dismiss the assertion in this case, that's fine, and I'm not talking about it in that context anyway. If you're trying to dismiss it generally, you haven't a clue as to what you're talking about.

I'll narrow it down then. I'm unconvinced that all these scandals are because the league is out to get us. I think the evidence is overwhelming that the Patriots either have violated rules or at the least are very cavalier when it comes to following them.

Are you talking about Kraft's tape? Gross man.

The question is “does unwittingly go with one quarter of filming”? Of course, the Bengals guy could be mistaken or the info wrong. The contents of the tape matter.
Unwittingly, as in not knowing it was prohibited. Which is plausible considering the film crew is not part of football operations.

So, like, what if the IC wanted the Patriots to look bad. Everyone's assuming that even if he wasn't affiliated with the team, he must have been a fan. Not the case.

"unequivocally the sweetest"... illegal tapeing operation...:D

Why the Bengals? This whole DoYourJob series was a set-up all year to steal hand signals from the Bengals?
Because if the tape shows something nefarious... do you honestly believe this was the first time? Again, IF it shows something nefarious.

If I'm Kraft, I prohibit the use of any camera for any reason. Hell, I wouldn't allow anyone in that building to even say the word "camera." Just stop with the camera **** already.

Regardless of what is on the tape as repeat offenders, they will be punished and probably harshly. I strongly suspect it will be draft pick(s).
Its beyond stupid for this to happen.
Does not matter if the guy who was filming did not know this was a league rule.
It is the Patriots FO responsibility to make sure everyone associated with the team knows the rules.

I'm with you 100 %. I love this team, coach, players..
But if there was intentional advantage taking, I'm not sure I can ….. I don't know

… I don't cheat. How can I honestly follow a team if they blatantly cheated??

After every F'n thing they've been through, regarding cheating, how in Gods name can they be this stupid?

They will be known for cheating in the history books.

I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but after all of the BS in the past!!!!!

Get off this board then and go root for the Ravens or whoever, they’re probably more your style. FFS

You would think that Kraft already hates cameras.

Should have hired coach Kevin O’Shea and butz to spy on the red rifle.

What I'm failing to understand is all this talk abt stealing signals?

To me audio is the key. Is there any audio of people talking abt plays etc.

There just aren't many signals anymore & you can see all that from the A22 or even some broadcast that's lucky enough to catch it.

Imo it will be more then obvious what our intent was from watching w/e footage there is.

No one associated with the Patriots has asserted that this is a fabricated conspiracy by the league.

Why do you keep beating that drum despite there being zero evidence of such a notion?

You took speculation by a poster here and are working as if that speculation is the official position of the team.
