I really wish the Patriots would have worded their statement differently, there had to be a better way than that. Lol

I still do not understand what you're asserting exists re: conspiracy.

The team's statement did not claim a conspiracy; they explained the events and the context.

Posters brainstorming/spitballing is just that, and is not necessarily related to/reflective of what actually happened.

The whole point of the show was to film the advance scout. If they were doing it every game or any other game, there'd be evidence a mile long. Every team in the NFL would know they were doing it since they'd be credentialed.

I'm with you 100 %. I love this team, coach, players..
But if there was intentional advantage taking, I'm not sure I can ….. I don't know

After every F'n thing they've been through, regarding cheating, how in Gods name can they be this stupid?

They will be known for cheating in the history books.

The Patriots admitted it before halftime.

So what happens? BB gets suspended for a season? How do they enforce a tougher sanction? How do they punish BB for something that Kraft's TV studio did?

If any punishment comes out of this, a belichick suspension is gonna be one of them.

Here’s another thing to consider in terms of the opinion that the NFL will want to “go out of their way” to get BB again.

Silly as it may sound, you do realize they have BB doing analysis on the panel for the NFL 100 all time team, right? Do you realize how bad it would look for them to drag his name in the mud while giving him such prestigious position?

If BB gets in trouble, my feeling would be it would be something where they have no choice this time around. Like it would be something he was seriously involved in.

I don't think the Patriots were cheating here. I doubt they were that worried about the 1-12 Bengals team that they felt they had to cheat to have a shot. I would imagine this was a film person who didn't know the rules

I do feel sorry for the Patriots PR people they are not going to have a good week.

These guys were credentialed. Every team in the league would already know the Patriots had made these requests.
