They’re the same folks who do the Sights and Sounds and the locker room victory stuff along with a lot of other great content. It was a mistake. No need to over react.
C'mon..these idiots would have had to been born yesterday to be THIS ignorant of the Pats sideline filming history. This is corporate idiocy at its blindest.

THat can mean a lot of things like they were filming areas of the field they weren't supposed to. If they focused in on the hand signals of the Bengals' coaches, then it's bad...
Yep basically.

To me, if what they’re saying (BB and all) is true, then it shouldn’t be much more than more naive stuff they filmed that’s against basic regulations.

But if there’s intensely focused signals being filmed, then that feels much more deliberate.

I certainly hope for the former.

This makes me yearn for the days where we were just terrible offensively. Take me back to 24 hours ago

I see BSPN has succeeded in their goal of making everyone clutch their pearls.

At the end of the day, I don't believe Roger Goodell wants to screw Kraft's team unless the other owners get involved or public sentiment gets really bad. He just wants this to go away ASAP.

Why would the film crew doing a puff piece on some random scout finish up and then stick around for the explicit purpose of filming the Bengals sideline for an entire quarter until being thrown out if there was nothing nefarious going on? They decide to just do it themselves or, far more plausibly, was this whole thing a front to just give the team plausible deniability if they ended up getting caught.
What are they filming exactly? The calls are done to the headset and the hand signals I mean how on earth can they get the defense to adjust to them on time if they can at all. It's just nonsense.

DOn't worry about the public. If the league does nothing about it, the hysteria will die down. If the league goes ballistic and docks us a first rounder (doubtful), then public perception will be worse. People will assume that Kraft Productions was just a ruse for Belichick illegally taping again.
I’m starting to wonder if the league now wants no part of another huge scandal with us.

I could be dead wrong there. But past scandals with us have been absolutely draining experiences for them. If nothings there they may just leave it be.

Maybe.

I would like to see that tape.

I don't have that kind of faith. I remember in the early days of deflategate (I think after someone put together an early demonstration showing the psi was within the appropriate range based on the temperature) we were literally laughing over how stupid it was that the league didn't realize how cold weather effects air pressure. Couldn't have imagined at that point that the league would push penalties because it was so moronic. And then they did.

Now we have the Pats making statements like "inappropriate".

So many things wrong in this post.

But, I'll play along:

1. To have footage of the game going on to give viewers a sense of what the scout sees and what the scout notes.

2. Are you saying they weren't doing this for the DoYourJob? series? That they'd been doing this all year long? You realize it is incredibly easy to check this right? Because these videographers are credentialed in visiting stadiums. If they were doing this all year long, the entire NFL knew about it.

3. The Patriots and every other team films from a booth where it is entirely legal.

4. Plays are called through helmet radios, not hand signals.

Really love to know how the patriots did some rule breaking while not even in the ****ing state

That takes some balls and ignorance.

Exactly! And now watching clips of Eli beating the Pats twice in super bowls is just super. From yesterday’s debacle to today’s crappola....wow. This is the worst I’ve felt being a 10-3 team.

Yeah, I'm just exasperated at this point. Living outside of New England I already have to deal with enough of this ****, it's approaching not-worth-it at this point. So every Pats fan is going to have to deal with another year plus of asterisk chants because Kraft decided that the media team just had to make another series of dumb documentaries that literally nobody cares about?

Whoever okayed sending a camera crew of know-nothing independent contractor dimwits who apparently weren't even told they couldn't film the sidelines needs to be fired yesterday.

That can mean a lot of things.
Bill said pointing the camera at the sideline was inappropriate. The key was whether they were focusing on signals after the 15 second to go period. If they were, the price is going to be stratospheric. If it was just background filming, they could survive. The report about filming for a quarter is worrisome though - sounds long for innocent filming. Of all the effing stupid things to do. Convincing people Bill’s fingers were not on this is going to be near impossible

I'm sorry to all my fellow Pats fans

Well, you enjoy.
I'm not a cheater.
...And I'm not F'n stupid.

These clowns are an embarrassment.
Are you going to sit there and condone this stupidity again?

They are cheating!!!
They broke the F' n rules.. AGAIN.
Are you good with that.? ************, these guy are beyond stupid.
Ignorance is no excuse at this point.

I see BSPN has succeeded in their goal of making everyone clutch their pearls.
I'd bet Krafty Bob was the "whistleblower" behind the entire thing...

This is where I'm at...wtf?? Come on...

I've got a job that's going to take me overseas A LOT and I'll miss a lot of games the next few years. This is likely my last time watching a full season of Pats for a good long time. Wish it could have gone better

Man, the season is already over? Wish someone told me.

Welp, I guess we won't have to worry about another first round miss this year.

Honestly, I just embrace it. When my coworkers ask me about it tomorrow, I’m just gonna say, cheaters gotta cheat, and smile. Gotta have fun with it, otherwise it’s too upsetting. Let’s face it, outside of Patriot’s fans, the Brady/Belichick Pats will always be looked at as cheaters. Fans of other teams call them the Cheatriots. Who cares ? I embrace it.

Nothing they say can take away the greatness of the last 20 years. Who cares what others think ?

What would you even have to gain from filming a sideline in today’s NFL?

Man, the season is already over? Wish someone told me.

I leave before the season ends, so yeah, for me, it kinda is...

EDIT - Also, I don't know who the fuk you are, but I'm not down on the team, so take your sarcastic tone and shove it up your ass.
