I learned my lesson around the first time we were on to Cincinnati.........I'm rollin' with what we got until the music stops

Thank you for posting. We should keep track of some of the posts that were made in the gdt yesterday as a future reference as well.

Come get credit for your quotes after the loss to the steelers last year:

When was the last time the pats had a 5 game stretch where the offense was pedestrian? I am trying to remember.

Some are over the top but it wasn’t unreasonable to be concerned about the teams performance at that point in time the same way it isn’t unreasonable to be concerned about the team’s current performance.

It's been a lot more than five games, the offense isn't even pedestrian. That said, the 2012 Ravens offense was putrid during the second half of the season, as was the 2015 Broncos. Not historically unprecedented, even in the modern era, that a flat-out bad offense finds a groove or can do enough to win playoff games.

Looking forward to FCB et al coming in here to make the same defense they always do - that they're supposedly not allowed to make comments critical about the team.

Like we weren't ALL critical about the team yesterday.

I'm number 5 for sure...

I'm not going to go look for my quote, but I did say last year at this very time that there was no way the Pats were winning a playoff game on the road. I guess that is why they did not renew (or even offer) my contract... :)

Is this an honor system thing or can we put out some names to these?

No I wasn’t. I legit gave up on them for 2018 and was on to 2019. But thanks for trying to cover my ass though. :)
Ok you go into the basket of deplorables then

yes......every time someone is concerned about something, they should post silly crap on the internet

This sounds like a reasonable, thought-provoking discussion. I also don’t believe we’ve talked about the offense on this board yet. You should start a thread.

2001, 2003 were entire seasons where the offense was pretty pedestrian.

So then you should only come to this forum to write about sunshine and rainbows?

yup..........cuz the last 20 years have been sunshine and rainbows

that's ok......a down year will shake out the dingleberries

Condon. It’s pretty easy. It’s usually the same 6 or 7 posters in every GDT . Would you like to know who they are ?

I don't keep track tbh on who's who. I just know Andy Johnson is the never-ending argument guy, and shmessy is the anti AB guy.

That 2003 defense was great especially upfront. Last year’s team has nothing to do with this year’s team. A lot of turnover on offense and the line was great. Top 5 yet the homers keep ignoring this fact.
