A Note to Bob Kraft

I don't expect a thing from him, except a competitive team and roster while Brady is still here. After that, i dont care if he buys lotus blossom, fwiw.
OK then you expectations are currently being met.

Well Bob, I hope you are happy. Did Jerry put you on the christmas list yet? Didn't think so.

For a guy that talk about his "Patriots family," and "our great fans," you certainly do not show any signs of actually giving a damn.

Remember that time you told Tom you had his back, then backed the Bus right over him? We do.

You were praised like a hero for leaving your wife's deathbed to weasel the worst CBA in sport into existence. I hope the couple points of TV cash was worth it.

So i guess the joke is on us for being duped into thinking you had a spine. You are more worried about appearances than conviction. Every time, you have chosen capitulation before moral conviction.

You see Mr Kraft, every time one of those moments have presented themselves, you have literally chosen to capitulate and willingly accept obvious lies to stand as the truth of the story. I guess the one excpetion would be AB.

Is he a ****? Absolutely. Is he a criminal? Probably, its pretty clear he loves to stiff working folks. But I figured that would be something you two could bond over. The point still stands there arent any criminal sexual charges being pressed against AB, if there were going to be, they would have happened already. Your hypocrisy on the matter is noted.

Your disdain for honesty and accountability stretches so far as to weasel out of a fine over a handy, like some other old white dude in a blue quarter million dollar ride was on that tape.

You put up wellsreportincontext like you gave half a damn, while literally being the league mouthpiece to publicly announce the standing of a villanous suspension of an All Time Great. This year you cut the best WR in football, because he was accused of hot button crimes. Not convicted, not even accused in criminal court. After you yourself had to suppress video proof of the crime you were accused of, to skate by on a technicality. Talk about an elitist prick.

How many more SB does Brady have if you dont become Goodie's punching bag? For years we wrote off Gronk getting mauled because, well Gronk. Ben Watson made the Best Play That Never Was. I bet if you stood up to the peytie schtick a bit, theres a few of those that go differently. Tom would have wrecked the Bears. Tonight it was clear. Goodie knows you won't make him a fool. So he keeps giving it to you.

That Eagle's SB where Brady was lights out, and the Eagles kept getting bailed out by non-calls, and by Troy Vincent's own omission, a new replay standard? I know your team played well enough to win, it just wasn't a legitimate contest. A called TD on a play where there is obviously juggling on the way out of bounds...

Despite 3 or 4 irrefutably blown calls, you won't say a word. You owe your players better than that. Its happened before, it happened again tonight.

I guess what I'm saying, Mr. Kraft, is you and Roger are a lot alike. You have both sought out a reputation which you will never obtain. Roger may recon himself a real business man, doing business things. He's really just a mouthpiece. A paid schill to deliver indefensible decisions at the behest of those he seeks validation with.

Similarly, you both claim influence on your respective organizational success. Despite it being obviously apparent that the results are being held back by it's leadership's failure to get things right on the field or in the boardroom.
I raise a $5 cup of Gillette Stadium tap water and toast your impassioned diatribe.
Cheers

This is ridiculous.

Does Bob come on this board?

Hi Bob!

I would have mentioned Kraft’s baby mamma.... the actress “niece”/billionaire banger
But that’s just me

When he has loose C notes and feels frisky
I just read my post again and I realize I set myself up for any jokes.

No puns were intended. Lol.

I don't care if Kraft calls out the officials. It won't change the outcome of the game. If he overruled BB on AB, that's another story . . .

The Pats were 54-42 before BB became coach and Brady was drafted, both of which happened in 2000. They went to the playoffs 4 of those 6 years. They were an above average team, not the Bengals or Browns.

Kraft has employed Parcells, Carroll and Belichick as head coaches. Not a bad lineup.

Imagine having Woody Johnson as your team's owner.

If you expect a billionaire NFL owner to betray his class brothers and sisters, you'll be waiting a long time.

I love how people frame all of this as being unfair to Brady when in reality what going on is that parts of the "fanbase" seem to feel entitled to their AFCCG and SBs.

It is not a success anymore but considered a failure if thats all it is.
Failing to assemble a competitive roster, part of which was a direct result of capitulating to the league (AB), is the issue. He doesn't give a ****, and likely looks to his employees past success for why it will work out fine. Screw him.

A man of moral fiber doesn't weasel AB off the team. He stands up in front of the media and tells them to stfu until criminal charges have even been levied.

The lost on the last drive to a top five NFL team, despite the officiating. They're 10-3. How is that not "competitive?"

It was low hanging fruit. Wonder if the OP can re-work the post to include this.

Can we nut up and finish this year out please

Sir this is a Wendy's

I sat in them. He lucked into BB. BB and TB are responcible for NEs success, not the spineless, duplicitous, hypocrite owner.

To be fair, nobody forced him to hire BB, there was plenty of opposition to BB at the time (e.g., "duplicitous pond scum" and the like), but he stuck with his plan to bring BB in. Of course he got lucky but there must have been something about how he approached things with BB that led to BB wanting the job here enough to pull what he did with the NYJs. There are so many examples of owners finding ways to screw up great situations (Jimmy Johnson/Jerry Jones being a prime example), and somehow Kraft didn't.

I was a big supporter of Kraft for a long time but that ended for me with his capitulation which I've always felt was more about his insecurity and wanting to belong to the Billionaire Boys Club - a failure of the character that he too often drones on about.

Never have understood the vitriol for Mr. Kraft.. a state of the art facility, great practice facilities, spends consistently to the limits of the cap...

Kraft allows BB to pretty much do what he wants, never meddles in much of the day to day stuff..

Of course there will be those who throw in the AB BS, but there are 31 other teams passing on his toxicity..

Meanwhile we are watching the end of the GOAT QB.. he had diminished skills last year and more so this year.. does anyone ever remember #12 ascending to the podium after a game with an ice pack on??? IMO that is telling on many levels.. he is close to the end.

For those of you who will give up their season tickets after Brady leaves.. good for you, there is something like a 10 year waiting list..

Tom Brady and BB will forever be linked with this organization on one level or another.. Kraft knows who made this franchise great.. and I suspect whoever is the coach or QB they may not be of the same quality, but they will probably be pretty good..

It is idiotic to abandon your fandom based on useless crap or blaming Kraft.. you all should have been here during the really bad years and really, really bad ownership times..

Was this cathartic for you? Because there’s no way Bob Kraft will be reading it. Maybe mail him a letter along with the one you wrote to Santa

What other owner of what other team would you have preferred over the past 20 years? Let's see that note.

suddenly kraft is jimmy haslam . This board is tough . I wonder what will happen when we will go 8-8 some yr soon.

Only those that expect trophies every year will be whining.

those of us that understand Patsfans have gotten more than our fair share of the greatest dynasty in NFL history will be ok once it’s over. And the end of dominance is far more guaranteed than seeing it continue

We have no choice but to be ok with that. So we will accept it...some easier than others
