This offense is definitely complex unlike any other offense but still it’s tough to watch our rookies struggle.

It took many years for the offense to evolve into the complex machine that it has become. It wasn't so complex when we were winning Super Bowls in the early 2000's.
I think we need to dumb it down. Dorsett, Myers, and Harry aren't going to master it in time for the playoffs and we need to take advantage of the talent we have. Harry is a beast in the open field, Myers gets separation, and Dorsett has elite speed. It's time for Brady and McDaniels to adapt.

They also blew the first challenge which was BOTH OPI and short of the line to gain

It wasn't OPI because Kelce was within 1 yard of the LOS..

Anyone see this.. probably the most inexcusable..

I think you overrate the talent but even if you're right, they won't do it. No way is Brady adjusting his offense to fit the talent around him. I think he sees it as "they have to learn the system."

I was thinking the same thing when watching the Ravens/Bills game today. Their big tight ends are a big part of their running and passing game. For a team that so heavily relied on their tight ends, why did the Patriots go away from that?

The Patriots "didn't go away from that". They were serious about Cook and he chose New Orleans because of Gronk's indecision. Cook didn't want to play 2nd fiddle to Gronk.

The team signed/acquired 5 other veteran TEs in Watson, ASJ, LaCosse, Kendricks, and Saubert. How could the team have known that Watson would get suspended for a PEDs test that never should have been given or that Kendricks would also be suspended. How could they have known that ASJ would ask for his release a little over 2 months after his signing. How could they have known that Saubert wouldn't be able to handle the offense.

The Patriots invested a pick in Izzo last year and he was playing well until he got hurt in TC. He then got hurt again this year.

I really have a hard time with people claiming the Patriots "went away from" something when the facts don't actually support the claim. .

Dude a year ago they had a running game and a top 5 offensive line! Brady had trust with some of the guys. Frankly this season has been frustrating for brady and he’s likely a goner after the season.

A year ago they had Gronk, Andrews and Develin to help the running game. 2 of the 3 were lost to injury..

Can we draft offensive linemen that don't get injured? Haven't done that the past couple of years judging by Wynn, Cajuste, and Froholdt.

Yes, because teams can predict when someone is going to blow their Achilles out. They can predict that a player is going to tear an ACL. They can always know when a player isn't going to recover as predicted from an injury. They always know when a player is going to develop blood clots in their lungs (Garcia/Andrews).

Do you realize how ignorant you sound?

Sounds like they knew Watson may be suspended. ASJ is the one that got away, he might have been good if he didn't walk away from the game for whatever reason.

That has worked well for 20 years, but as you move into the 2nd half of the season, you need to focus on what will actually work. The problem for NE is their rookies’minutes became significant just as they hit a stretch of good teams. The learning curve has been accelerated against better competition. But it may pay off in a month or so.

You think this is it for brady? You think he retires or goes elsewhere?

I think he's back for another 2-year deal. I don't understand why everyone (media people) are saying he'll only come back if he's "paid". I mean, when has that EVER been his primary consideration? I think he comes back because (a) he wants to be here, and (b) BB and RK want him here. I also think they add a few critical offensive pieces - and yes, maybe even Gronk comes back...that wouldn't shock me (though I'd put it at less than 50% likely). I think the offense next year is much improved because of improved health and the addition of quality skill players.

Agreed. Andrews was the biggest blocking loss, but the Ravens lost Skura, the anchor of their OL, and they really haven't missed a beat. None of the TEs the Pats tried could really replace Gronk's blocking ability. All three together, plus the Mason and Cannon decline and Wynn injury make it very tough.

Refs blew bunch of calls, but let’s not forget this team was awful in the 2nd and 3rd QT.
Have to play 60 minutes.
Can’t win playing like this.

Care to take a look at when the blown calls were in this game??? They weren't all in the 4th quarter.

The Pats offense should not be this bad. Period.

The bad calls dont matter and do not change the lack of playmakers on this offense. The KC stat sheet highlights the 2 skill players that Brady and the Pats can count on. You already know who they are. They carry this team and they are not enough. Bottom line.

so why did they flashed “Touch down” on the tv?

Because someone jumped the gun at the TV station.. Because Brady and other Pats were signally TD while they refs had their circle.. je.... errr.. circle of discussion.,

I disagree, I know they have played two good defenses in Buffalo and SF, but their stats are definitely down and Lamar has been touched by more LB's since he has gone down then he had previously, at least from what I noticed. They have been held under 300 yards the past two games prior to the Pit game was the only game they were held under 300 yards.

Management has to take advantage of the 1-2 years Brady has left. Lots of mistakes made, including no TE and WR and OL issues.

Yep.. Because Management should have the ability to see the future so they can magically know the following:

- When players are going to snub you for another team for BS reasons (Beasley/Humphries)
- When a player is going to sign with another team because he doesn't want to play 2nd fiddle. (Cook)
- When players are going to suddenly retire (Diehlman /Veldheer)
- When players are going to get Suspended (Watson / Kendricks)
- When players are going to get injured (Andrews, Develin, Jacobson, Karras, Wynn, Froholdt, Harry, Izzo, LaCosse)
- When players aren't going to recover properly from a surgery (Cajuste)

We need to hire Ms Cleo

I get the problems on offense but I also agree with Boomer here. Romo made a point in the 4th that we finally figured out what KC was doing defensively when we sent Edelman out wide to draw the safety to him opening up the middle of the field. To me this should’ve been figured out sooner. Safeties were doubling Jules the whole game.

There was a point in the game that they had Jules doubled AND Meyers doubled. Unfortunately, the rush steamrolled Ferentz and Brady had no time to find someone else.

You said it. They played better defenses the last few games.
