Complete 180 from last season where they lost to dregs but beat all the good teams. And I see no way this team wins in the postseason. Which is a shame because this defense is going to be wasted. Brady and the offense stink.

You keep saying brady stinks ! Anyone would stink if they had no one to help him starting with the O-line. I really think Brady is not the issue here, it's most of his surrounding cast !

He stunk tonight. There were guys open in certain situations. He missed them. Regardless, this offense isn't capable of winning a SB. And I'm at peace with it all. Last year was a pleasant surprise. 6 titles. Can't complain.

This team makes every game hard.
The offense is absolute awful, they have no consistency and Brady has to go back to basics with this group because half the times these guys appear to be lost.

So people in here said "just wait till Sanu plays", then it was "just wait till Wynn comes back"....then it was "just wait till Harry comes back"...well they're all playing and Brady has generated less than 20 ppg and the quarterback can't mount a td drive longer than 30 yards... And the offense is historically bad for Brady and BB...
Cincinnati is a ONE win team and the Patriots are facing a MUST win if they want a bye...if the quarterback with all the answers to the test goes out next week and completes 53% of his passes, throws a pick, and has a 63 qb rating, I think we can close the door on 2019

If they struggle against cincy would it shock you? This offense is trending down. Why should anyone be scared of these guys with the exception of the squirrel. You have some people on this board who actually still believe the offense will turn the corner. Talk about blind faith.

I’d love to see Tom throw 3 touchdowns to pass Peyton before Brees on Monday night.

@StairwayToSe7en what happened tonight? I remember you being confident about this game. What happened? Been very quiet since the result.

I have a feeling Cincinnati is going to get their doors blown off.
No. The Patriots can beat Cincinnati with good defense and bland offense. But what about the ho-hum play the past five games gives you the sense any doors are going to get blown off?

We've lost three out of four and look confused on offense. The team played with energy tonight and still lost, so this isn't one of those teams that are failing to meet their potential. If anything, we were lucky to be 10-1 with such a *shrug* offense across the board.

I can see a game like 23-13 but i doubt the pats will be blowing the doors out of an opponent when the offense has struggled mightily.

"We're on to Cincinnati" been wanting to say that.

It's what started this whole thread series!! And it also came after a Chiefs loss where it looked bad for a while but we saw some glimmers of hope and players fighting the whole way through.

Just trying to draw some parallels :)

The Patriots have done enough for me over the past 20 years for me to give them blind faith right up until the moment they lose in the playoffs.

Are you calling out a fellow Patriot fan out for thinking we would win and then not 'admitting they were wrong' or whatever after the fact?

That's one of the more shameful things I've seen on here....

I’m calling him out for saying the offense would march down the field on the chiefs defense. Obviously he hasn’t seen the offense enough to say that. He can say the pats would win.

This year feels different and i think even the players in the back of their minds know it including bill. They will say all the right things . Offense hasn’t shown no improvements. 3 games left.

Tannenhill signed a 1 year contract with Tennesee and is balling out for them without any superstars. What do you guys think about pursuing him during the offseason for the future?

Every year "felt different" until it didn't. 2014 after the Chiefs loss was a nightmare and last year we didn't click until week 16.

Yeah, you shouldn't do that. There's nothing wrong with being confident that the Patriots will do well, ever. Nobody should ever be made to feel bad after the fact if they thought the team was going to be good and then they weren't. It completely misses the point of being a sports fan.

you could be right but the postseason with a bye is anybody's game . They just need to win 1 game to get to the AFCCG. In a single elimination game BB and Brady will have their chances. There are no gurantees. 2010 we saw how the jets came into foxboro and handed it to us. That yr we looked like world beaters in the regular season beating the jets 47-3. You cant predict the postseason based on this except of course health. 2009, welker loss before the playoffs lead to the quick exit.
