The best coaching staff in the NFL and the GOAT QB will work their butts off for the next month to be better by the time the playoffs arrive.
There are many ways for the offense to improve without changing personell.
I said that a month ago when the #1 seed was in our control. I hope you’re right, but I’ve run out of reasons to think it will succeed.

I was thinking the same thing when watching the Ravens/Bills game today. Their big tight ends are a big part of their running and passing game. For a team that so heavily relied on their tight ends, why did the Patriots go away from that?

BB tried to rely on cheap, stopgap measures and they didn’t pan out.

Did Sony get hurt? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to not only abandon him so quickly while also leaving Harris inactive. One of them needs to be bellcow with white also in the mix.
Not to my knowledge?

Weird year so far:
Adam humpheries choosing Tennessee due to uncertainty with Brady

Jared Cook chooses to sign with NO because gronk hadn't made a decision yet.

No legit pursuit of a TE in the draft.

Sign and release Antonio Brown.

Trade demariyus thomas

Cut Josh Gordon.

Give up a 2nd rd pick for a reicever worse than Josh Gordon.

Sparingly use Nkeal Harry

They are an offense that cant run, cant protect brady and cant get any separation at the skill positions. Theyve be reduced to gadget plays to generate big plays. That is not sustainable. I know the mods and delusional pats fans hate to hear it but Antonio Brown would signicantly open this offense up. Sanu and Edelman would get more favorable matchups. If Brady comes back next year Kraft owes him big time.
You forgot: under throw moon balls to entice pass interference

We need to run the ball.
But that requires blocking. What we are doing right now is putting the offense in a position where the defense can dictate to it.
We need to figure out how to run EFFECTIVELY. If that means we play an ol
at TE so be it. If that means we play an ol at fb, do it. But to score points we need to make plays in the passing game. We can’t do that when defenses tee off on a crappy OL and we make it easy for the to cover the receivers
So maybe we need to forget about the crappy TE and put 4 WRs on the field. Bunch them and spread the field. Get them off the line and create separation. Run draws.
It seems like we have not adjusted the offense to the personell. There are a lot of teams with worse players figuring out a way to get them open.

I disagree with your assertion HOU and KC have bad defenses. They are middle of the road.

HOU got all their starters in the secondary back and KC is ok vs the pass.

It isn't working b/c we have injuries, rookies and talent gaps and need to execute flawlessly. ..

We may get there. We may not.

3 games to go

It’s like I said in the game thread; someone makes a big mistake on most plays. That can’t happen the way this offense is built.

I'm far from a blame the refs guy, and even so, I'll stand by saying that had the Pats offense actually executed at even a reasonable rate, we're not beholden to Boger's ********.

That said, the officiating was so bad (and to have it be Boger again, no less), that for the first time in my life, I really do question if there is a fix in for a game. It would very much impact my ability to watch the games if I came to that conclusion.

As for the Pats, wait and see. Last year around this time was actually somehow worse...Miracle in Miami, losing to Shytzburgh to fall to 9-5..."the worst team since 2009"

If anyone can pull a rabbit out of their hat and turn this **** sandwich of an offense into a roast duck paired with $1000 wine, it's BB and TFB.

Maybe it will maybe it won’t but we are in the game and I like our guys odds of figuring it out. ESP with this kind of D to complement it.
A year ago it was much worse and they figured it out.

You know how pissed the pats are? When slater has to refrain from commenting so he doesn't get fined, says a lot!

They also still don't have a lot of confidence in the OL's ability to block the run.
I think that’s the real issue, moreso than lack of confidence in the backs themselves.

Dude a year ago they had a running game and a top 5 offensive line! Brady had trust with some of the guys. Frankly this season has been frustrating for brady and he’s likely a goner after the season.

I expect Bill Belichick to improve his decision making, he took all the possible bad decisions he could take in a game today, I thought Andy Reid was on the other sideline.

Was Sony benched?

White sort of took over.

Ferentz is listed at 300 lbs but no way he exceeds 225
Tossed like a rag doll most of the night

Even w the Harry TD the offense scores TWENTY POINTS against a Defense that everyone in here said sucks...they manhandled the Patriots...

Brady 19-36-169 1 TD 1 horrendous pick
Sony Michel 5-8, 1.6
Sanu 1-13
Harry 1-12

The reports are that Harry only played 3 snaps and then injured on the TD play?

Where did you get these numbers?

Dead last in TE production. :(
That wouldn’t be that big a deal if we just weren’t using them.
I say bench the TEs and use a combination of 4 wides to spread the field and a 6th ol
In place of the TE.

This boger always makes the game about him. It makes me sick! Look at me look at me. He should be fined for those horrible calls!

See my post earlier. Same thing happened last game against Houston. If you look at the timeline it played out near 100 percent as the Houston game did minus the ref screw job. Even down to the White usage and the rest of the game.
