Patriot's players still open to Antonio Brown reunion.

Sigh. How many times do you need to be told that BB did not say that in regards to Brown being cut???

It was regarding the NFL INVESTIGATION of Brown. That is something that is a LEAGUE MATTER which means it is at the owner/commish level and not in a HC’s world - especially when it concerns a non-roster player.

Diagram needed?????

.
Doesn't matter. He would normally just say, I have no comment on players not on this team. Show one quote where he ever referenced Kraft about anything.

This is unique. Clearly you are being Obtuse.

It means everything to me and would have even when I was living in China. The only thing this team could do to make me stop rooting for them is move.

It means everything to me too. After 3o damn years of being the 2nd class citizens of fans held hostage by the broke azz conniving Sullivans then the ignominy of scummy Kiam & Carpetbagging Otis rolling in to try stealing our team, living under the almost constant threat of relocation it all turned around when Krafty Bob outmaneuvered Kiam and Otis. God Bless that man, short of murder there's not much I wouldn't forgive him for. He is both mensch and occasional schmuck but he is one of us and therefore our damn schmuck and we are lucky he stepped up.

Ok, you are drowning.. It’s riggt there in black and white what the subject of the question was that was put to Belichick.

It is what it is , but only to the non-delusional.

A lot of the folks who jump on this board simply don’t deserve a team owned by that man.

I have never once seen BB say ask Kraft, in regards to any question over a player in any context ever. Show me one, and I'll gladly concede and admit I want wrong.

I love having Robert Kraft as the owner of the Patriots. Clearly this was a special case where he stepped in. It's his business and he needs to protects it's financial issues so I can understand why he wanted AB gone. There was no reason for BB to want AB gone

It wasn’t in regard to a player!!! It was in Regard to an NFL investigation!!!!

Can you comprehend the difference????

He wasn’t privy to the investigation. The owners would be as they get direct info from the Commissioners office. How hard is this for you???

At this point you’re just trolling. A Troglodytes can’t type that fast.

Steinbrenner??? No. OMalley moved the Dodgers to LA. No. Walter Brown? Maybe. I don’t know more than a passing amount about Colonel Rupert.
Yes. Stein won and made a ton of $$ and built a new stadium. Not a fan of spying on Winfield which puts him below Kraft.

Who cares if OMalley moved them. His teams won and decided blacks should play in the MLB.

You must be the MCI. How ya doin’ Ben??
The question specifically mentioned AB, and BB said ask Robert. My reading comprehension is on point Douchebag.

It's not the first time BB has been asked about ongoing investigations. He always says that is a league matter, when the question involves a player on his team. When it is a player gone, he says I won't answer questions about players not on my team.

.....Who cares if OMalley moved them......

4 million broken hearted Brooklynites who gave their meager immigrant lives hopes to that team.
That’s who.

It wouldn’t matter to me. But I acknowledge he that’s a minority view.

Have never seen BB once say ask Robert that in regards to a former player. Give me one quote. Proof is on you, otherwise it's obvious that the decision came from Kraft

I have no problems if it did come from Kraft, and I appreciate everything Kraft has done for this organization, and hate the bend over Bob talk.

But clearly this was a unique situation, where Kraft had to a make a business decision. Again, if you can find another BB quote in regards to former player saying ask Robert, I'll concede the point being made.
You seem to not be able to comprehend that everyone is telling you that Belichick didn’t say ask kraft about cutting brown.
If there were another player that we cut that the league was investigating and reporters asked Belichick about the investigation I’m sure that would have been his answer. But it hasn’t happened before.
Belichick is saying the player isn’t on the team so he has no concern about NFL investigations so if you want to know about nfl investigations ask an owner.

Your first 7 words are funny. Like Orthwein would’ve hired BB :p:p:p. Later in 2000, the only other owner on earth insane enough to hire the down and out “duplicitous pond scum” was Crazy Al Davis who was in the early period of galloping senility.

The fact that Kraft went to the barricades and actually offered up a 1st round pick for Belichick was mind blowing at the time. Brilliant, gutsy, bat$hit crazy move by the greatest NFL owner in History.

.
Belichick was far from down and out.
You seem to forget Bill parcells hired him as HC of the NYJ so your statement is beyond ignorant.
If kraft hadn’t hired him another team surely would have. Worst case if kraft didn’t buy the team parcells stays until 2000 and does here exactly what he wanted to do in nj and Belichick succeeds him.

Umm, no. The only reason “Parcells hires him” is because Parcells quit as HC when he got wind that Kraft was looking to poach Belichick and so he cut Kraft off at the pass by going upstairs to be the GM and raising BB to be the HC so he wouldn’t go to NE.

That is the one and only reason BB became the Jets coach for a day.

And What’s this about Parcells “stays until 2000 and does HERE exactly what he wanted......” if Kraft never bought the team.

What’s this “here” of which you speak???? St Louis??? Sorry, it may not be a big deal to you where the team is located, but to me they only matter if they are the New England team. Unlike you, evidently, if Mark Cuban buys them and they become the Portland Oregon Patriots, I’m out. I don’t root for a logo. I root for my birthplace and an owner I do admire (for the most part). This will continue after Brady retires and after Belichick does too. The Kraft family hopefully owns this team as long as possible and continues to do great things in as improbable as place as freaking Route 1 in Foxboro!

There is a stumble in just about every sentence you wrote in that post.!

Parcells hired him. You said no one but al Davis would hire him, which in addition to being stupid he factually wrong because he literally was hired.

I don’t really care what matters to you, but your argument was Belichick wouldn’t be here if but for kraft when kraft ran off parcells and Belichick followed.
I am a fan of the team but their address.

Once again, there is only one reason Parcells “hires him”.

And that reason was sitting in Foxboro, and was busy sending out faxes with offers of draft picks. Parcells was only driving up the price by going GM and naming him HC. He eventually got a price from Kraft that people thought was insane at the time.

BB knee full well his Jets hiring was a sham and he was tired of being Parcells’ pawn in the war with Kraft.

Read a little about it someday.

And unlike you, I dont root for a logo but a team that represents New England and is owned by an owner who doesn’t soak local taxpayers.

Yes because he wanted him as his HC. Glad we agree.

I don’t need to read about it I was there for it.

I guess you think parcells wanted al groh as his coach all along.

Extremely weak performance you are putting in here to support your rump swabbing of kraft. At least be honest

Obviously Kraft wanted BB far more than Parcells did. Parcells let him go. Parcells could have said no way. He did for a while only to drive up the price. It happened. And the New England Patriots added 9 more Super Bowl appearances to the 1 they already had during Kraft’s first few years where he turned around the team. If I recall almost half as many season tickets were sold the weekhe bought the team as average attendance in the year before. That did t happen the week Parcells was hired. It did t happen the week Bledsoe was drafted. But it did happen the week Kraft bought the team. The franchise was truly reborn that day and has never looked back.

It is what it is.
