To Everyone Blaming Brady

Just my opinion based on very little information, but I think the biggest fault Brady has in this is his attitude. I can understand it, and I would probably be even worse in his shoes, but the fact is that his demeanor is not helping the situation at all. Again, I have no idea what goes on between Brady and the team behind closed doors. But what you see in public isn't good.
You are probably right. Like I said a few posts ago I think that a bunch of offensive players are losing confidence in themselves in part because Brady is at his wits end and unable to conceal his frustration with them. I think that loss of confidence could be influencing their play even further. Drops, mental errors etc...

But it’s like you said, Brady has every right to be frustrated. Antonio Brown was cut, DT was cut in favor of a rookie that Brady has not seemed too happy with. No running game to speak of. Their attempts to incorporate Michel into the passing game has failed.

In addition to the whole contract issue, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Brady looking as unhappy and miserable in his 19 year career.

And 20 receptions for 300 yards or so with NE...nothing great but certainly more productive than Harry

And Gordon would of kept the ineffective Dorsett off the Field or down the dept chart. I know he's coming off a concussion but Dorsett haven't had a really good game in a while.

Yes, and then they released him. I'd expect there was a reason for that besides clearing a roster spot. Something going on behind the scenes that hasn't been made public. In any event, Wilson is a good QB completing 68 percent of his passes and Gordon isn't catching many of them.

He does seem pretty miserable this year and this may be the experience that pushes him to retire or sign elsewhere. I think the best fit would be with Chargers, who will be in a new stadium and they need mbig names.

TB had a lot of time vs. Houston. The line was much better. There was no separation from the WRs.

I don't see Brady anywhere else. It just doesn't make any sense to me. What better situation is there for him? And what better option do the Patriots have next year?

The Stidham kid is the future. And we all know BB will move on to the future if that is the option in front of him.

Okay, but Stidham looks nowhere near as good as Brady.

I am sure that there were enough plays where he had the time and no one came open. More so in the redzone where the space is compressed than anywhere else. The same way that we have seen now a couple of instances where people were open but either Brady forced a throw into a low percentage window or was under too much pressure to make it.

But this "nobody is open" narrative that is being pushed is just highly reductive and misleading.

The announcers kept saying,” nobody was open”, its hard to fault anyone following that narrative when they have not watched the film yet, right after a loss with emotions high. I’m really on the whole unit fail or succeed together theory, it’s the narrative that, “it’s all Brady’s fault”, that is bothersome.

BB let Hogan leave because he didn't want to pay him.

Okay well BB needs to be at least involved in the offense going forward. Now is the time where the captain needs to take control of the ship. If that means BB starts calling offensive plays, so be it.

He is as productive as Meyers. If penalties don't cancel out some of his receptions yesterday Meyers ends up with a career day of over 120 yards and blows past Gordon's season stats with ease.

That is how little production Gordon had.

Brady has lost confidence in them and the receivers know it and are losing confidence in themselves. It’s an ugly situation.
This. Maybe instead of freaking out on the sideline and pouting during his presser he should try to work with these guys.

You figure Brady never practices with the team, then?

I didn't say that but saying your done with him during the game doesn't help. How about some constructive criticism? Coaching? Leading?

So you figure this was a one off incident, that this sort of thing hadn't happened before, and Brady just stupidly lost his mind?

Or, is it possible, just possible, that frustration over this sort of **** happening with too much frequency, whether specific to one player or more generalized to the entire offense, bubbled to the top?
