You shouldn’t feel bad for him. He signed that extension knowing his team was average at best. Don’t fall into the trap that people feel bad for a guy like Larry Fitzgerald or Joe Thomas.

Maybe, but I have always liked Matt, the person and the QB. He has talent and I think he would be able to do so much better with a different coach. When he signed that extension, I don't think he realised the Falcons would languish in mediocrity ! Their biggest problem over the years has been that they really haven't focused on the D. They have a lot of offensive weapons and they do nothing year after year for the most part.

I’m pretty sure Tony Romo called the game today and enjoyed watching the Cowboys lose much like Aikman does. I’m also sure he doesn’t miss the media drama and criticism.

Ryan is becoming the Phillip Rivers of the NFC. He’s had plenty of talent on O but can’t do much with it.

Ryan, what are you doing ?

Without a running game, the falcons offense is so predictable and easily defended.

The way Ryan was hit, I’m thankful he wasn’t hurt badly. Could’ve destroyed his back.

Ryan is the most likely QB to become shook in a game. And it's so apparent when he's shook. Abandons fundamentals.

Chicago isn't winning bc of their QB. Their defense is still one of the better ones in the league. They took a shot on a w MT on his rookie deal.
If they had average QB play they'd be contending for that division.

Oakland is winning bc of their offense, definitely not their defense. Specifically their OL/QB. They're also not winning bc of any of high picks they got.

CF has been one of the more disappointing rookies this year. Big expectations bc of Mack, what Chubb did the year before.

Jacobs has been great but so has that OL & they're not winning bc of him.

JA has been hurt.

Gruden has done a fine job but Oakland isn't winning bc of that trade. Chicago isn't in that bad of shape either. They have FA/Draft (two 2nds, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th) is plenty to work w.

Its the NFL, a 2-3 year league.
