If we can run the ball effectively, then we can just keep pounding the rock and keep the ball away from Lamar Jackson, just like what we did last year to Mahomes. Control the time of possession, win the game. They can't score if they don't have the ball.
SF struggled in 2 games this year against scrambling quarterbacks. One was Kyler Murray, and the other was Russell Wilson. Let’s hope they’ve learned from their mistakes for the game this Sunday.Jimmy G please do us a favor on Sunday.
Jackson must go down....and he must go down hard. When he runs those option plays, have the defender bury him under the stadium.
Odds are Jackson will be hurt by the playoffs anyways.
Now? No. There is still something gimmiky about the BAL offense to me but there is no denying their success. No offense, but KC isn't going to be anywhere near the AFC Championship. They simply cannot compete with Baltimore.

I think the Chargers Ravens WC game-tape needs to be absolutely dissected by every team in the league.
Lamar looked completely lost that day. No one else has come close to making him play like that since.
I personally don’t have an answer. But I refuse to believe BB and this group of veterans on defense get punked again if we get a rematch. Not saying they’ll shut them down but I don’t expect anything close to the whooping they took the first go around.
Thankfully we have a coach who most likely spent 4 days diagramming the double eagle D while watching Gilligan's Island....when it was brand new.Remember the old double eagle front that shut down those running offenses? I don’t either. But they were the thing in the 60s. Basically it’s a five man defensive line. Arizona or AzState ran something similar in the 90s. It has flaws against the pass. It leaves single coverage on the outside with a single FS playing the entire backend.
Jackson is a ticking time bomb for an injury.
