Just wanted to know everyone's thoughts on how the Pats can beat the Ravens. Obviously, they are our biggest roadblock to SB 54...they look unreal right now, but I'd like to think Bill will come up with something in the rematch. Do we have anyone who can spy Jackson? Maybe Collins? Our Run D is ranked 10th in the league and they have a great running game. That could be a problem.

I think the Chargers Ravens WC game-tape needs to be absolutely dissected by every team in the league.

Lamar looked completely lost that day. No one else has come close to making him play like that since.

not sure if Collins can. He didn't do well that first time.

I am curious what adjustments Lamar and the Ravens have also made based on that game, as it isn't like we didn't already have that film to study! That game was a lifetime ago.

Hoping next week the 49ers come up with something.

I am curious what the "blueprints" are to beat their offense, and do we have the personnel to implement one of them. Plus their defense is really good (earlier this season ppl were saying they were not good but ... they are).

That game is irrelevant. Jackson is a completely different player this year, i.e. he can throw the ball.

Lamar is a much better QB now...

have KC beat them before we play them

No offense, but KC isn't going to be anywhere near the AFC Championship. They simply cannot compete with Baltimore.

Nah. If you put 7 DBs on the field against BAL, you may as well pack up and go home. Yes, I’m aware that the LAC had to field 7 DBs due to their LB injuries. Won’t work now.

The Ravens are a run first team. The key to the game would be setting the edge on the zone read and forcing plays up the middle. Then they have to play strong up the middle. Guy and Hightower would need to have great games.

Jackson seems to be throwing to a lot of wide open receivers, usually right over the middle, due to the Rams soft zone. To beat the Ravens, you need to take away the run and force Jackson to stay in the pocket, which is not his game.

Hope they miss the plane

Clock killing, ball control offense minimising Baltimore's ability to possess the ball. Yes, it's going to be on Brady.

The running is a huge part of their success, sure Lamar can throw but his attempts are extremely limited compare to traditional QBs. Stopping the run and making lamar fumble in January is one good strategy.

long drives and tire out their defense. I don't believe their D is that good, they seem good because they play with a lead and other teams are always playing catch up. That plays right into their hands.
I wonder how their O and D will do if they are playing from behind.

Homefield Advantage and Lefty Kraft telling Booger after slipping him a wad... that their is plenty more where that came from if he make up some bogus calls. :D

We heard all this leaving up to the Sunday night game at Baltimore... Didn't work out too well

Well unlike us KC can score in 59 seconds with their Speed on O. So hope KC plays them in one of those rounds. So KC might be a bad bad match-up for the Ravens. One Team that like to hold the Ball and another who can score Fast Hmmmmm.

Very simple: deploy the boogiemen on every snap. The moving, fluid line will mess up their gap and zone blocking schemes.
