A number of players made bad plays today including Brady. Yet I only see our rookie WRs get the criticism.
They are the 4th and 5th WRs playing the #2 and #3 roles due to injury. What do people expect? We won, they got great experience...they are not going to be #2 and 3 all year.

Shmessy: I jumped into the conversation, and I continue to show my ass because I can't just accept that the discussion was specifically about the Patriots WRs, and not about the weather or the other team.

Got it.

Your question ignores the point, in two separate directions. One direction is that AB is available. The other direction is that we had people here hoping that Sanu and Dorsett would miss this game.

Those two things provide a lot of context to the post-game discussion.

Pretty sure it's always a 5 second run off on kicks, but the block risk is there.
Since 1994 there have been 23,846 field goals attempted and 37 have been blocked and returned for a touchdown.

hahahahahahaha.. just got my fix watching Jerruh having one of his ill-advised postgame conference, throwing the coaches under the bus. And Dallas plays again in four days. hahahahahaha.

You jumped into a conversation. You have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

Shmessy being Shmessy.

Now, are you going to shut the hell up about this, or am I going to put you on ignore for deliberately being an ignorant ass?

Forums are for people who love to argue. Except those ones where a guy will come on one time looking for real information. Like he makes an account on a cat forum just to ask what to do because his cat swallowed a tampon or something. Then he thanks everyone for the suggestions and never comes back.

You have 26,462 posts on a Patriots forum. Don't act like you don't love arguing with Deus Irae.

There just aren't 26,462 posts worth of real football talk to be done. If they execute better than the other team and score more points, they will win the next game. If they don't, they won't. Period. Back to life.

AB is not coming back ... forget about it. And I was not hoping for anyone to miss the game.

That's a good stat. Should have just kicked the field goal then.

I was explaining the context to you, not weighing in on it. And I didn't say you were.

But you aren’t the coach. You can’t fix problems. You complaining about them literally accomplishes absolutely nothing.
Bb focuses on what’s wrong because he can fix it. im sure after going to bruins game that they win bb doesn’t spend the next 5 hours complaining about what they didn’t do well because it has to be fixed. Because he can’t fix it.

I love this response. Thank you

Wow! You seem to have a weird problem understanding the difference between a DM and a Messageboard. There are no exclusive chat booths in the open forum, son. If you want some sort of secret handshake exclusivity, DM someone.

I could give a **** whether you’re so fragile as to put me on ignore. Go right ahead. Are my feelings supposed to be hurt by your dramatic ness. Ooh is that like being “unfriended”,??? :p

Honestly, I'm not sure why the offense is so bad. I only watch games on TV, where you can't really see much. I have not watched all 22 film to see if people are open and Brady can no longer process fast enough or hit the target, or if it's all on the receivers.

All I know is that I get the feeling that if the defense stays as dominant as it is in the playoffs, they will figure out a way to scrape enough points together to get wins at home.

No, it's just being ignored. Sayonara.

Sure, and if you're coming from perspective of "the Patriots get all benefits of all doubts", you're overlooking the bad in favor of the good. But if, like Biffins, you're coming from the perspective of "the Patriots really need to fix that WR corps, and there's a great player available", you're looking at this game as yet another clear example of the problem.

And neither side is provably wrong.

except the only guy available is an arse.....I’d stick with the rookies....they’re going to be much more important

The clock hung at 00:01 for an extra second beforehand, so I doubt another millisecond would have change the timekeeper's mind about prematurely stopping it.
After the game, Brady was having a discussion with the ref about why the clock stopped. I do not think they thought only 2 seconds were left and I think they did burn 5 seconds.

Seriously.

Any new fan must watch the 01-04 seasons in it's entirety....maybe 05 and 06 too.

Throw in 1992 while you're waiting

I like that you included 1992 here. Christ what a season that was.
