Maybe I learnt from BB. His first reaction would also be to fix mistakes.

Which he says after the 35-17 games also.

What’s your point?
.

What’s wrong with being a new fan
For the new fans who are problematic - not having perspective, expecting videogame stats, and complaining about style points when they don’t see Their Sainted Tom and the offense getting a zillion easy yards and points.

I’m with @robertweathers - strap’em down (Ludovico-style if necessary) and make them watch the 2003 season.

The rookie WRs were also problems today.

People who can't acknowledge that have agendas.

That sword cuts both ways.
Agree they did but I would have expected that anyway, even without the weather. Wouldnt have liked it but it is what it is.

So its not something I would have worried about it since it was more or less expected and then that weather thing.

I’ve been there for awhile......team won games without scoring a touc
Brady 17-37 190 yards

In 2003 Pats beat the Giants 17-6. Brady was only 8-21 112 yards :D

I think there’s something to the 2003 comparisons and hopefully ending the same way!

But there weren’t as many FFL posters here back then.

Sure, and if you're coming from perspective of "the Patriots get all benefits of all doubts", you're overlooking the bad in favor of the good. But if, like Biffins, you're coming from the perspective of "the Patriots really need to fix that WR corps, and there's a great player available", you're looking at this game as yet another clear example of the problem.

And neither side is provably wrong.

OK

The conversation was about Patriots players.

The weather was the reason for the sloppy play. Anyone with a working brain understands this. If you want to find fault with only the Patriots receivers when the receivers of the other team were having the very same problems for the very same reason, people will only continue to laugh at your act.

It is what it is.

Seriously.

Any new fan must watch the 01-04 seasons in it's entirety....maybe 05 and 06 too.

Throw in 1992 while you're waiting

NFL WRs are supposed to catch footballs in the rain. Anyone with a working brain understands that. And, since the context here is that we were discussing the Patriots players specifically, and for specific reasons, it would be asinine to start talking about players who are not on the Patriots.

It is what it is.

The WR corps this year is concerning. If that is the point fine. But that is not the same as worrying about not so great WRs playing not so great in terrible weather.

Brady plays the game. It’s his job to improve and correct mistakes.
Yet the talking heads spent an entire week complaining about his complaints. Even on this forum, posters threw him under the bus for his post game. So what?

Who cares if people complain on this forum? It's not going to change anything. Do we want a forum where everyone says the same thing and agrees with each other on everything? How f$%ing boring. This isn't Pleasantville. Get over it.

I agree that, if his only point is that stiffs (comparative, not overall) play like stiffs, he's got no real point. But that's not his point. His point is that the team needn't, and shouldn't, be relying on those stiffs. And he's got a valid gripe there.

He thinks hes going to get the giants hc position if jerraaah fires him
I'm sorry, I just read that he would prefer the giants hc position. The idea that he thinks that hes such a great coach that he can chose is laughable.

Dude stop living in the past, and when is the new Dude movie coming out, we've been waiting forever man.

The unsolicited praise of Cannon was atypical and interesting. BB has become mister smiley and Brady, the cranky curmudgeon. 10-1.
