This team has a lot of grit and a lot of faith in themselves. Games are close, seemingly never easy, but they always tough it out. It's insane.
2003 says “hi”

Bertrand, Bedard are trashing Meyers on 98.5. Yes, he had a few drops, but I thought he played about as well as anyone should have realistically expected. The guy is an undrafted rookie starting against a very good team in terrible weather. What more can you expect?

Tell Bedard that critisizing Meyers or Harry gets you declared "insane", "sociopath", "idiot", "garbage" and plenty of other ridicule. They should stay away from there forums if they have that opinion.

And that's exactly my point is you read my post. I really wish you would stop responding to my posts. We hardly ever agree. It's like you either go out of your way to reiterate the very thing that was already stated or make a point that has little to do with the post you're quoting . . . no in between with you.
Sometimes I post agreement to posts. Sometimes I post disagreement. Sometimes I expand on the topic. Sometimes I address one piece.
I mean isn’t that how this thing is supposed to work?

It’s not that you “aren’t allowed”. I think the overall point some of the older posters are trying to make to you and several others is that BB, Brady and crew have had so much success that we sometimes forget how incredible all of this is !

I doubt any other fanbase would have so many detractors coming off a win to move up to 10-1 as reigning SB champs. Add to that the ridiculous weather and the key injuries to WR.

Frustrated about what ? 10-1 ? Defending SB champs ? These are great times.

Ofcourse these are great times. And they are great despite the sloppy play from our rookie receivers. It's been out-of-this-world defense, very good special teams (despite 2 missed FGs in tough conditions), and a good running game. Brady got little to no help from his receivers outside of Edelman. TEs and RBs were non-existent and the other targets were sloppy.

I'll let you take this one, Biffins. I'd rather stay out of the crossfire.

Do me a favor, click on my name, find the ignore button and press it. Solved.

Why would I do that? I’m here to read what people post.

Whatever man. I'm not about to get into this with you. Good night to you.

No, let's get this cleared up. We know Edeman was injured. We could see him working his arm during the game, and it seemed to impact him on the throw over the middle. That doesn't excuse him not coming down with that pass, but it does offer a bit of insight into some of the "why" of the play. Also, even with that drop, he still had 8 catches on 10 targets. Beyond that, we've seen people talk about Harry (1 catch on 4 targets, and one big drop) and Jakobi (4 catches on 9 targets, multiple drops), and their drops.

Who else should we be calling out about drops? I'm trying to do what you asked:

then spread the criticism around because he certainly wasn't the only one dropping passes out there

Shocker Rookie receivers playing in a monsoon played sloppy. News at 11

And I did not know that 20 carries for 85 yards with a 4.2 avg - from a guy everyone says sucks is "non-existent"

Keep going, this is fun.

hah :)

So I am not allowed to be frustrated by sloppy play on a win?

There is nothing wrong with calling out the WR play in this game.

In all honesty, you need some perspective.

Injuries to WR.
Wind
Rain
Cold
New LT
Merry go round at RT
Injured RG
Replacement C
2 rooks at WR
#7 D in the NFL
29,ppg O held to 9 points.

Get a drink. Watch SNF and enjoy the win

February is coming.
Never understood why the first reaction to a win isn’t joy over the win, but instead is trying to find negative things to whine about.
It’s like people’s interest isn’t in the team winning but in finding something to be upset about so they can feel doomed.

As bad as this was, Brady had a ton of time to throw. When Sanu and Dorsett come back, the offensive woes will be over.

Isaiah Wynn for MVP.
I don’t know how much of it was Wynn but the OL had its moments where Brady had all day in the pocket which we really haven’t seen since Week 1.
