Jules will be triple covered, so probably White and Burkhead out of the backfield.

Maybe the activate DEVIN ROSS from the practice squad. He's kind of like deion BRANCH. He's good.

Maybe other reporters know about it as well but aren't comfortable saying anything without attribution. I'm sure the Patriots hate seeing that kind of info leaked publicly. If this is true -- and I don't believe Gasper just made it up -- I'd assume he got it from a player or team staffer on condition of anonymity.

My opinion of Gasper is much lower that yours, then.

As for anonymity, Reiss is the master or passing along this kind of info on the sly. We would have gotten hints if he heard it. Curran clearly has good sources as well, and his thoughts on Harry are quite positive. We can be confident they haven't heard anything (yet).

Burkhead also had 2 receptions...he had 34 yards to Matt LaCosse's 3. It not a problem unless its a trend like being injured. I'm hoping he is productive against the Cowboys...with all the injuries at WR...we could really use his help.

Just breaking it down though do you honestly believe a player or coach of a bill Belichick team would make negative comments like that about a player to a reporter?
I just don’t buy it.
But it would be terrific if you could find exactly what he said. Perhaps your paraphrasing is what makes it strike me as odd.

That's kind of a big deal if Harry is not doing well in practice...because recent reports have been he's been getting after it and pissing off DB's with his good play. I'd be interested in knowing more if you have it....thanks.

Well, we'll really have a better idea if Meyers is the real deal now. He has flashed in both preseason and in a few limited opportunities in the regular season. However, we've seen him run the wrong routes as well in both preseason and the regular season. He'll have to be really good in this game and maybe that'll set him up for the rest of the season.

Gaspar's fine as a reporter, and people can look for the report on their own if they wish. If it's news off the radio, you're not obliged to hunt it down.

It will be fascinating theatre to see what Josh and company can come up with to deal with their lack of WR personnel. I really have no idea how the O will try to compensate for them but it will be damn fun to watch.
Hopefully, the D creates a few short fields through turnovers and the O can capitalize. I would like to see Dax with a three pick day.
