Wish we had a receiver like Hopkins or Jones

Let's trade Watson and Hopkins straight up for Brady and Edelman???? NOT!! When will the chicken littles stop with their BS?

When was the last Texan's Super Bowl win? Never! When was the last Texan's AFC Championship? Never! When was the last article about Hopkins watching Edelman film to learn how to be perfect? This week!

God help us - the chicken littles are insufferable.

Good thing we have Michel

his ability to fall over at the slightest touch and break 0 tackles will be invaluable

Yeah, I’m not worried about the Texans at all. I like Deshaun, he’s a good kid and they have Fuller and Hopkins, but outside of that it’s a 53 man team in the NFL and there isn’t much else outside of that. They lost Clowney before the season and Watt a few weeks ago. Their best ST tackler tore up his knee tonight.

The Dallas game seemed a bigger test with Sanu and possibly Dorsett out this week. But now Van der Esch is now out and that hurts their D greatly. They have the usual great talent at the skill positions but for the past 25 years, the Cowboys are the template for what he AB crowd doesn’t understand. Diva talent at the showbiz positions means nothing if the rest of the team isn’t up to it. They can beat the crap teams but are 0- 3 against winning teams. They don’t have the discipline to beat a good team. They huff and puff and cough it up.

just because I wished we had a great WR on our team means I’m a chicken little??? You better think before you post next time, I can think and feel however I want to about the Patriots. What an idiotic post !! A lot of sensible individuals can admire great athletes on other teams, it’s called being mature , maybe you should try it sometime!

He isn’t a bust but far from deserving of a 1st round pick.

It’s got to be the knee issues, as he had another procedure right before training camp. He looked like a bright, young up and coming player last year averaging 4.5 YPC. This year, he’s all the way down to 3.3.

Could be. I’ve never been a fan of using 1st round picks on RBs unless he’s an absolute stud coming out of college like Barkley..

I most definitely would have taken Barkley with the top pick. I always felt like he was the one really worth moving up for when we’d all discuss the multiple high round picks that it would take to get up that high.

Dread from it, run from it, the Matthew Slater go route still arrives

He’s actually had about a dozen offensive snaps this season. I mean, he did catch that pass that one time, so that must mean that his positional value is at wide receiver. Right?

My favorite sentence of the year so far.

Look, this is going to be another tough game for the offense by most accounts. They might even *shudder* lose. Does that eliminate the Pats from playoff contention? (hint: no)

At the same time, those that have been begging for higher throw count to Meyers and Harry...pretty damn likely now.

Will that playing time and pressure help or hurt the coaching staff (and other players) know what the team really has in those two? Will it help or hurt their development as we move into the stretch run time of the season?

It's games like this that are more likely to show BB if he has a Malcolm Mitchell or an Aaron Dobson than any practice field.

I look forward to an excellent O game plan that will maximize what we have with Watson, Edelman, White + Harry and Meyers.

Brady 119 & 19 at home..

Excellent D so reasonably confident.. BB & crew will come up with creative game plans..

Gotta stay positive..

Funny how so many people bring up Gordon's name. What did he really do this season? If he were lighting things up, he'd likely still be here.

It’s called running behind a crappy OL.....do you think Brady’s poor stats this year might be helped by having longer than 2 seconds to find a receiver and make a throw???? (also would help if we had 1-2 more elite receivers....)....cmon it’s Football 101...starts with the OL

Oh trust me Harry and Meyers will get all the attention! Edelman will be doubled all game and Dorsett will be limited if he plays....this will very tough game for O

Do people get tired of whining about the receiver position? Jesus, get over it. We got what we got.

Let's see how it goes, I am excited to see what they come up with.
