My gosh, half the people I know or read or listen to are talking about this team like they're DEAD.

And they're 9-1.

That was an awesome win. That's a GRINDER game... that's a TRENCHES game... yeah, our team lost some of those battles... maybe a lot... but they won the freakin' war. (Honestly, I felt like the Ravens game was turning for our team too, until the fumble/6.)

Just to recap the Eagles, and forgive me for being no statistical deep diver... but the important stuff is right there in front of us:

1. The defense gave up 10 points in the first quarter... AND SHUT THEM DOWN THE REST OF THE GAME.

ON THE ROAD.

2. The offense... came back from a 10-point deficit...

ON THE ROAD.

Now.... could they close it out? No. But there have been plenty of other times the Pats O hasn't closed out a game... with far higher performing offenses than this one is at the moment. Just... saying.

3. Special teams was pretty much perfect... all kicks made... and all but one punt were beauties.

I listened to the beginning of Squeaky and the Douche yesterday... hey, I'm a masochist... and Mazz started off by saying how excited HE was by the win. I'm thinking to myself... what world do I live in where I agree with Mazz about the Pats?!?!?!

A lot of people thought this team was DOA last year after Gordon was out, and the Steelers game. "Not enough talent"... "haven't lost 5 in like a decade"... well, THAT worked out pretty well.

C'mon... keep the faith in BB and TB12... and to the chicken littles... you BETTER run...

...before we find out how many of you fit on a skewer. :) (jk... a little)

Ooooh two of these threads in one week. Must have been a real crappy week.

Funny I was just looking up flights and airbnb in Miamifor the SB.

FYI lots of cheap places to stay on AirBnB and not just people's rooms, I can't do that. Condo's hotels, guest houses etc..

And Spirit flight round trip from Richmond, VA to Ft Lauderdale for $98 bucks...can't really beat that not a huge fan of Spirit, but they have gotten me to and from Jamaica so...

The Pat's only scored 13 points in their last Superbowl win, FFS!

It was a lousy game overall, for both teams, and the struggles of the offense has been going on for some time. Instead of telling the "chicken littles" to get a grip, maybe the blind homers should accept the current reality of the level of play (particularly from the offense), and not just the W/L record. That can be done while still believing that things will get better.

That Eagles team is only 5-5, for crying out loud. It's not as if this was a battle between a pair of 8-1 heavyweights.

9-1. 6 Super Bowls.

Nah, you are just a negative person. That was a great win and a great defensive performance vs a desperate team in their building, The OP's post was entirely correct.

OK, thanks for your response. I'll just put you down as clueless and move on.

I've been calling you clueless since Day 1.

Knowledgeable fans understand the offense is not performing at a high-level and won't for the foreseeable future. Maybe you missed it during your nap but the days of winning games 44-21 are over. Thanks for stating the obvious.

Translation: "I laugh at all past accomplishments... I'm only focused on what they're NOT doing well RIGHT NOW."

...which BTW is the key ingredient of every hysterical GDT post. Well done! LOL
I’m sure Bill is watching film with them as we speak telling them “Good job! We’re 9-1 so no need to try and improve on the whopping 17 points we put up Sunday!”

That was an away game performance,I'll start to worry once they start laying eggs at home. At the end of the day, 9-1 is 9-1, I'll take that with whatever flavor it comes with.

That's not the proper translation, at all. And you've seen me posting here for long enough that you know that. If you have to lie to defend your O.P., your O.P. sucks.

I think the Pats offense is slowed down by the offensive line. Wynn should help a bit, but the troubling thing is Karras is not Andrews and I always thought Andrews was the weak spot in last years OL. With Gronk gone and all the TE's injured and Devlin on IR. The entire offense has been destabilized. I hope Brady doesn't get killed before the injuries return.

IMHO, that's what your post indicated to me, and that's my honest impression. You are free to tell me where I misinterpreted your laughing emoji response to someone else posting, "9-1. 6 Super Bowls."

Or call me a liar again. Your choice.

The team won, I'm happy. If it was a 41-38 win, Wentz tossed 5 td, I would still be happy.

I think come January there will be a game where the pats will have to put up 24 or more points. Maybe not it all depends but i feel considering how the offense is struggling they need to hang on to the top seed.
