Anyone worried about our kicking game?

Folk was consistent and steady......but now I have this new bottle of Goldschalger that is going to waste .....when Nugent was kicking ......

Nick Folk is the best kicker this team has had since Vinatieri.

I gotta say I’m liking what I’m seeing from Folk so far.

I hope none of these games comes down to a medium/long field goal.

If the kick is within 30 I am pretty confident. Everything post 40 with Folk seems like a 50/50 historically.

Going into yesterdays game, our FG/XP ranking by DVOA was 32nd.

In contrast, again going into yesterday's game, our Punting rank was 1st.

And for those dissing Gunner, our PR games was 7th ranked before yesterday. Certainly don't want to see Sanu back there again.

Obviously with an offense that struggles to convert in the red zone kicking will play a big factor. Our season can come down to the leg of Folk but so far he has been steady but I will admit we havent seen anything from to much distance out of him yet.

It's not an ideal situation, but after yesterday I can safely put him near the bottom of my list of concerns going forward.

Folks seem to like Folk.....
