I’d probably say worst LT in the NFL if pushed to narrow it but I’m confident he is at least in the worst 3 starting LTs. He really sucks.
And worst 10 was among ALL STARTING OL
IN THE NFL
Nahh. I'd go as far as bottom 5 LT, bottom 15-20 OL. We've seen Dante make chicken pie out of chicken **** before, but that was because we had Gronk, Develin, other healthy offensive linemen, and veteran receivers. I do think if Brady were as comfortable with the offense as he had been between 2010-2018 Newhouse wouldn't be forced to play a "true" #1 left tackle role and most of his deficiencies could've been masked, which is Scar's greatest trait. Then we would just be able to call him bad, instead of WOAT/disastrous

You were the one arguing semantics. Now you're the one "picking up the AndyJohnson unnecessary argument shtick around here". You're clowning yourself, again. If you've been drinking, stop. If you haven't been drinking, start.

Either way, Laisse tomber.

Cause you know damn well you fall in the exact 150 out of 100 range I mentioned in my post, lmfao. DISASTROUS! This 5th string tackle playing in a mediocre offense has been DISASTROUS! 150 out of 100!

What a BS call on Brooks. He led with his SHOULDER and hit Ertz in the chest..

It seeemed to me that all the "non-calls" went Philly's way despite Romo and Nance's claims to the contrary..
Is it just me or does it seem like Brady would have to be decapitated for them to call roughing on him this season? He got hit late, pretty egregiously, multiple times in this game, including once where the defender pulled him down and threw him to the ground seconds after he had thrown the ball...no call.

1. The hit on Dorsett after the touchdown was awful. Late, targeting the head of a defenceless receiver. And nothing was called. It was far worse than the hit by Brooks that was penalized.

2. Give Brady a break. The guy was exhausted. He had every right to be. That was a tough game.
I don't even think the Brooks play merited a flag at all, to be honest.

Defense stole one. I'll take a win and no injuries, but the offense has to sort itself out. It's really struggled on the road since last year, HFA will be totally key
Yeah, good thing champion hypocrite Robbie caved to sponsor pressure and cut a HOF receiver because all of ours are just playing lights out right about now. We sure wouldn't want someone who can get open in a phone booth (and catch the #@$% ball).

Not defending it, but did you really think Antonio Brown was going to play after the last incident? Pretty sure other teams don’t think so since an elite wr is out there for anyone to have.

Glad we won too dizzy to really comment

Why shouldn't Brady be pissed. The offense is a ****show right now. Below average run blocking, below average pass blocking, bad routes being run by young players, drops, poor throws.

They had two weeks to prepare and looked like that. If he had been happy with today's performance I'd be more worried.

9-1 and leads the league in point differential. Have given up a total of 108 points in 10 games. This team amazingly has "less problems" than just about every team in the league. The difference is the other team issues are mainly on defense while the Pats are on offense. This years version is unlikely to score 3 straight must have TD's against KC in the AFC Championship game but thankfully it seems highly unlikely they will need to.

How some cannot enjoy watching this completely different version of our beloved Patriots is beyond me.
Yes, in seasons past, it was "Why can't this defense get off the field on third down? Why does the offense have to put up thirty points to insure a win?"

Send you to the glue factory

That was clever, I like the way you took what I said and said it back to me. You must be the funniest guy at the party

Because it's about the team.

He can be as angry and grumpy as he wants in private, in the meeting rooms, while preparing and watching film, and at home.

At a post-game press conference after a hard fought win on the road which featured a great defensive performance, and a phenomenal special teams performance, the focus should be on the fact that the team won, and he should be happy about that.

I recall after the 2007/'08 AFFCG game when Tom said something to the effect of, "I sucked today" after they beat the Chargers in a sloppy game. Belichick was not one bit pleased because it took the focus away from the team's accomplishment and put it on Brady (an individual). Not quite analogous, but similar situations I think.

If this team wants to get where we hope it can be by seasons end there will be a few games where we'll need the offense to click more effectively than it has in quite some time.

Comments:

1.) If you break down the Pats D into three parts, the DL is the worst part..followed by the LB corps and then the secondary. Nonetheless, I would rank our secondary #1 in the league and our LB'ers....in the top 3 for sure. Our DL? Maybe..18th or something depending on fronts. So, the run D is what it is....a weakness...but a MINOR one if we are playing with a lead...

2.) The problem with this team is the offense... which is a GOOD PROBLEM TO HAVE given that we have a HOF QB and a creative coordinator to work it out. I think by season's end, the O will be a respectable unit.

3.) Don't get too excited, but Folk was SOLID today.

4.) I thank Newhouse for his effort and I think Wynn has to be at least .5 of a second better in pass protection....that should make a dramatic difference, IMO.

Good post, but after another outing where we gave up all of 10 points to a likely playoff contender, (1) is just a funny way to put it. I'm thinking maybe saying the secondary is scary good, the LB corps is a Top 5-10 unit, and the line is "pretty good" is another way to say the same thing.

The rest of it is pretty much the same takeaways I took away too.

I think it made it exponentially easier for Goodell to play nitwit mob boss and issue his threat to put AB on the exempt list, once Kraft had cut him. If Kraft had never cut him, the NFL would have had to make a case against AB in order to take action against him, or at least have a rationale and reasons prepared. Once he was cut it was simple for the goon to make an indeterminate threat. Some team would have already signed him if that threat weren't hanging out there. Just my $.02.

Maybe the offense sucks because the defense is too good. Can't get anything going in practice. Wasn't that the defense's excuse at some point in 2010 or 2011?
