He's not horrific? How isn't he?

Because he doesn't give up sacks on every play. And many of the sacks that have come from the left side have actually been because of other people. Again. Below average. Just not horrific.

Terrific win against a tough team on the road in windy conditions. The defense was absolutely amazing after that one long TD drive. Not sure what the angst is all about. This team is just much closer to 2003 than any team this decade. Defense is the key to victory and the offense just needs to do enough. I think they will figure some things out and become more effective - won't be great but should be a good enough compliment to the best defense in the league to win games.

Comparing mediocre Jimmy G to Brady is just trolling. You should get banned.

Jimmy Garropolo is 16-3 as a starter. He's way better than mediocre. I bet you could name 10 Jets QBs worse than Jimmy G. How about Mark Sanchez who had a 37-36 career record? That's what mediocre looks like.

Philadelphia defense has yielded (passing) 380 yards to case keenum....320 yards to Matt Ryan...422 to aaraon Rodgers...333 to Kirk cousins...239 (and 102 rating) to Dak Prescott...and Brady has 216 yards, 4.5 an attempt and completed 55% of his passes

Facts are, Brady was not good against a defense that some mediocre QBs have lit up...

The defense bailed this sorry offense out, and they needed to redeem themselves after the Baltimore debacle...good on the D...but Brady has not been good 4 TDs/3 int last 4 games and his rating is around 85

Watching that many punts by both teams should be a crime against humanity

I don't dislike the Eagles. I mean, I hate the Cowboys and the Giants and the Washingtonians are hopeless, so you kind of root for the Eagles by default.

But that crowd! Booing just for going 3-and-out. What entitled twerps! Very happy to stuff it down their throats. Well fought, Pats! Well fought!
Those fans are insane, they'd literaly eat sht and boo santa.

Eugene Chung LOL - you have to go back 25+ years to complain about him, and Grant Williams didn't start for the Patriots. If any backup

*sigh* Grant Williams started 12 games across 2 years for the Patriots. 8 in 2000 and 4 in 2001.

I've been a Pats fan since 1982. Anyone claiming that Newhouse is the worst OT the Patriots have had hasn't actually been watching all that long. Sorry. The Patriots have had some doozies.

I said this team couldn't get it together after the first quarter, that the defensive personnel was outmatched and Shelton couldn't cut it.

I was wrong and absolutely deserve to eat some crow. The way the D responded, became more aggressive and downhill and took back control of the game was beautiful. The response and grit in the face of adversity was really great to see.

Fantastic win. Onto Dallas who I think is a considerably easier opponent (largely because of the drop-off in coaching). I'll be at that game - looking forward to it!

Pats offense is 2001 Lite
Dink and dunk and screen and punt for field position
Thank god for JE and his timely dart

BB seemed excited. Semi-giddy.
Brady was steaming. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it like this.

His intensity is important. But sheesh.

Can we just send Newhouse to the glue factory already?

Tom just finished his podium chat with the press. To say the feeling was morbid is an understatement.

Right. Anyone who thinks we're going to plug Wynn in and jump up to 33 points per game is gonna be disappointed. Newhouse isn't as disastrous as people make him out to be, he just isn't elite like most of our Brady LTs have been

Newhouse is every bit as disastrous as people make him out to be. Frankly, he might be even worse than people here make him out to be. Go listen to the stats geeks breaking him down. To call him hot garbage is an offense to hot garbage.

And the saddest part about that is that the team thinks that the two guys they traded for aren't good enough to unseat him.
