Just a tiny nitpick. LaCosse's knee was down before the ball was out regardless of the forward progress call.. I thought that the Ref saying it was forward progress was him not wanting to take a look at the replay, honestly.. LOL .. I was amazed

That might be true I never saw a definite replay. That being said the difference between that and a fumble is still so miniscule in terms of when he loses possession.

Point being it is sometimes just random noise that makes the difference in games. And this time the ball bounced more towards us than in the SB.

He is horrific. But getting Wynn back can't be the answer to all the offensive woes. Need more than him. Brady had a few open receivers and he missed terribly.

Newhouse isn't horrific.. He's not the talent level we've been used to. He's below average, most certainly. But that's what you get when you lose 2 OTs to retirement and 2 to injury. People seem to be forgetting this.. Newhouse is the equivalent of a 5th string OT. Behind Wynn, Veldheer, Dielmann, and Cajuste. And let's remember that he was still better than Dan Skipper.

With regards to Newhouse, while he certainly is not great, it's worth remembering that the coaching staff consider him a better option than moving Marcus Cannon from RT to LT.
Or thuney

If he's posting then the answer is yes.

I honestly can't believe otherwise because it means I'd have to think that grown ass men were having temper tantrums over a win that made our record 9-1.
This fan base is getting more and more *****y, whiney and entitled by the hour

Nothing is good enough.

Maybe best game of the year by D. Other than one drive they humiliated a good offense.
missing their top 2 wr's and starting RB

Nah, when you constantly behave like an ass you get shown the door.

I wish this idiotic notion that somehow you are entitled to sit there ****ting all over something or else everyone else is a ***** if they tell you to **** off would die a hasty death.
What was unwarranted? You think Brady was good today? The team was alseep on defense for for the first quarter and a half, was ridiculously undisciplined and gave up several first downs via penalty.
The offense had no answers...red zone ofer, needs trick plays to score tds, and if I'm I'm not mistaken Brady has generated a total of 2 touchdown drives the last 3 games when he has to cross the 50...sorry someo us don't have our Patriots footy pajamas and pom poms out on game day

Right. Anyone who thinks we're going to plug Wynn in and jump up to 33 points per game is gonna be disappointed. Newhouse isn't as disastrous as people make him out to be, he just isn't elite like most of our Brady LTs have been

They’ve been mediocre all year. What have you been watching? The definition of an up and down team.

Clearly you don't understand that Philly has had more injuries than the Pats, particularly on their defense. So, there is no point in continuing to talk about it with the uninformed.

Well it was not pretty but it was a solid road win

next week we will know for sure if this D is the real deal Prescott playing really well, 2 very good WR's and an elite RB with his back up in Pollard being very fast.

It is so tiring to see people blame the OL for Brady being fooled by the Eagles and not setting his protection correctly.
You have to be fair .... Andrews is a huge loss

He's not horrific? How isn't he?

Comparing mediocre Jimmy G to Brady is just trolling. You should get banned.
I think he was banned in the GDT. He's working on being banned again. What's the record in a day?

Honestly this thread makes me a bit excited about the post Brady/BB Era. This team is 9-1 and if you'd read the thread you'd think they are sub. 500.

The sucking after the Brady/BB Era will hurt but I think this forun will roar to new heights.

Only 2 road games left (and 1 of those is @ Bengals).

I think 3 more wins gets us the the bye and 4 more wins gets HFA

All you do is *****.

They are 9-1

How did you survive 01-06?

Serious question.

We are likely done with him, but it doesn’t look to me like trading out Newhouse for Wynn is going to instantly transform our blocking, especially the running game.

How can anyone disagree that Newhouse sucks and needs to go....must not understand the game

Maybe the problem is that you don't understand the game even 1/1000th as well as you pretend to compared to the rest of the posters on the site. Most people acknowledge that Newhouse is a below average OT who is still better than Cunningham and Skipper. That Newhouse was the equivalent of 5th string and was forced into use due to 2 retirements and 2 injuries to the OTs ahead of him.

That’s just silly. Winning every game convincingly would be sufficient for most.

Yes, I’ve been so uninformed. Every team has injuries. Philly has been incredibly mediocre since last year. But go on, keep blaming it on injuries. You’re comparing the Patriots to the Eagles. Compare the Eagles to another mediocre team and then we can have a conversation about injuries.
