NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 11: Other Games Thread

Of course, anyone thnking Mike the Scumbag Tripper Tomlin is going to answer for the vicious criminal acts of Pouncey in this assault on our senses is sorely mistaken. NOW do you see why I hate this jerkoff? THIS is what HE teaches...jerkoff scumbag rules breaking football...no sportmanship at all just SCUMBAGGERY. **** Tomlin to hell.

Wait a second.......POUNCEY was the main problem???????

.

I’m wondering this seriously, not saying it should happen, but Garrett could get charged with assault for this one if Rudolph or the Browns wanted to press charges. Not saying he should, but this would be like a batter charging the mound with bat in hand and swinging it at the pitcher.

I know hockey has had some bad incidents that authorities have gotten involved with. Forget the specifics but I think it’s happened.

The Honorable Chief Justice Simpson weighs in: 'It was all Rudolph's fault, just like it was Nicole's fault for denting my knife!"'

Can you imagine how this would have gone down if Garrett had pulled this crap on Brady and a healthy Mankins was still on the Patriots?

They'd still be scraping parts of Garrett up off the field.

ME-nkins would've been AWOL at home sitting out his existing contract as he did for almost half a season in 2010. Quit on his teammates and team.

The 1st round draft pick whose 2005-2013 Patriots career completely spanned the 9 year Lombardi drought?

2001-2004: 4 seasons 3 Lombardis
Mankins Era: 9 seasons 0 Lombardis (leaves team for 1/2 a season in 2010 because he wants to rip up his EXISTING contract)
2014 - 2018: 5 seasons 3 Lombardis

It is what it is.

Rah Rah Team Player ME-nkins.......

(By the way - the Pats traded away Mankins before the 2014 season and immediately started winning SB's again. Mankins spent his final 2 years on a losing Tampa Bay team. Patriots got short-timer Tim Wright and eventual 3-time SB Champion Trey Flowers. Great move, Pats.)

I think we’re goong to find out years from now that certain players have been suffering from massive CTE. OJ and Antonio brown come to mind. Not saying this to be joking. Much more sad than anything. I’m sure some football players are just idiots, and others just jerks, but decades from now I’m guessing we’re going to find out that CTE was involved in a lot of nfl and post nfl actions and things said of a number of players.

Maybe if it happened in Pittsburgh in an election year for District Attorney..... Not in scenic bucolic Cleveland.

Hard agree. Maybe massive human beings aren't meant to slam their heads against each other at high speed for years!

This from a league with an owner paying aging Asian ladies for handies at a "spa".
You know, I worry about Kraft moving the team to Beijing or Bangkok.

So now the Browns are unlikeable on both sides of the ball...... That whole division is a cesspool. Makes me glad we're playing all 4 teams this year...because they only have to play one of these teams for the next two years and not all four again until 2022.

And I went to sleep with a minute left in the game and missed it live............

Wow. Funny but I wonder how old someone would have to be to get it. 45?

Did you get any action last night? Asking for a friend.

And secondly, what happened last night? Fell asleep on the couch.

Brows vs Steelers tension has been brewing for years.

No different than Red Sox vs Yankees during the curse. This melee is Don Zimmer vs Pedro Martinez to the 10th power.

He literally beat him with his own helmet in a league that calls for a 15 yard penalty any time you sneeze next to a qb.
The same NFL shilling for the WWE can't complain when this sh-t breaks out, they are in fact encouraging it.

Time for a conspiracy theory: some azz clown from the Park Avenue NFL HQ paid off Garrett to swing his helmet...

Garrett is an ahole..should be suspended at least 3 games

I wonder what the collective time will be spent by talking heads today talking up this fight?

I woke up at 620 AM and surfed quickly thru channels and Golic and Wingo were still talking about it so I skipped to the news.

At 7 AM I tried FS1 and they were talking fight a half hour into their show.

I will predict 90 minute NFL Live will devote at least a half hour to this fight.

I wonder how the NFL owned NFL Network will handle it.

Ehhhh Pouncey did a pretty decent job of that on his own. Stomped Garrett’s head into the ground. I recognize that move. He no doubt learned that on his first day on campus at Florida, playing under Meyer.

He should be suspended the entire year if the NFL REALLY cares about player safety. He could have cracked Rudolph’s head open.

Yeah, after last night I'm glad we're done with the Browns this year and won't play them again for a few years (they ain't winning a division anytime soon so def not next year or the year after). Even forgetting the despicable attacks at the end, there were numerous headshots and they took out Pittsburgh's only real offensive threats with em. I doubt they'd go after Brady like that but I'd fear for Edelman and Sanu.

Yes @Tony2046 How was the pasta e ***ioli?

What Garrett did was wrong to the point that he is a professional and should be able to keep his emotions under control infront of million viewers on the TV.

BUT this little sissy of Rudolph, trying to get Garrett helmet off to start the complete action, going after Garrett like a kid beeing taken his sweets away just to get wracked to cry for the ref like a 12year old girl and than saying he did not do anything?

get the f out of here, you want to fight and go after somebody? than better be ready to fight or being punched, don't look for mommy and daddy to help you out there on the field

So yes Garrett actions are inexcusable but Rudolph has a good portion of the action and should be banned too, just for his unprofessional childish behaviour of starting the fight off because he was clearly frustrated
wrong ..wrong.. Garrett falls on top and wouldn't let him up..all blame is on the idiot Garrett...he's a punk
