Lamar is the best player in the NFL right now

I am no football expert but i couldnt help notice that jjimmy doesnt set his feet if there is even a threat of pressure. Lot of happy feet. So used to seeing brady just move a bit and step into his throws.
Jimmy just blew out his knee last season... even Brady wasn't stepping into throws his first season back.

Jimmy threw almost 3 picks in that drive, the defenders weren’t able to hold on to the ball.

Not his best game this year.

Plus he threw a pick in the first half but it was nullified by a penalty. He also fumbled away 6 points. Not his best game.

It’s only one game but still . . . I’m kinda thinking BB kept the right QB.

Who would have thought that out of all ex-Patriots in the game it would be Hollister who would have the best one.

JG inconsistent and couldn't protect the ball. Gordon with a total blocking brainfart that cost Seattle 8 points.

Hollister finally healthy and being used correctly. It sucks that he never could string together that many injury-free games in his time here. BB gave him a lot of time but it just didn't work out. He is pretty much what you'd expect LaCosse to be able to do.

Overall pretty entertaining game with horrible time management and mistakes from both teams.

JAG has a very, very bad habit that he still hasn’t broken yet of throwing the football off his back foot when he gets pressured. Very happy that BB didn’t decide to keep him over Brady.

Jimmy is overrated. Ive been trying to tell everyone for over a year.

Lot of the guys here who are his loyal fans like his looks. GQ man and all.

Dancing with the Stars will do that.

Jimmy coming from the ACL injury my thought he is playing scared.
Remember after Tom first came back he was scrambling in the pocket from imaginary pressure.
May take time to fix the mental component.

And then while Brady did recover from that, he ended up becoming much more statuesque in the pocket for years until after the 2014 KC debacle when he suddenly rediscovered his pocket mobility and has kept it since then .

I'm sorry but Jimmy G does not possess the clutch gene that Brady has

The moment Bradshaw touches him he is down by contact, nut grab or not.

I think the rules were different back then. Its whoever came away with the ball in the scrum

There were so many little things that worked against the Patriots in that game. Like you said, the play should have been over as soon as Bradshaw touched Woods if it was officiated correctly. With that said, if Woods had just laid on top of the ball or rolled over toward the sideline (I may have this reversed, but I think rolled toward midfield, where Bradshaw and the rest of the players were), the Patriots keep possession and are in FG range to start that drive.

Rules are no different. Once you're touched down with possession of the ball, you're down and the play is dead.

However, that's usually impossible to tell with a typical fumble scrum (just because player A was the first to the ball doesn't mean he actually had possession when touched by a defender, and by the time someone does have possession they're already underneath the scrum so who the hell knows who had first true possession and was touched down) so they go by whoever has the ball at the bottom of the pile.

Point of emphasis in 2007...IN THE GRASP...no call when Ecry was clearly in the grasp...never mind the FOUR holds on the same play. MIke Carey reaches for his flag and then, inexplicably, stuffs it back in."Integrity" bellowed Gotohell post game.

Any Garoppolites want to renounce their god after last night's game?

like spelling god with the small g...that one will certainly incense the former Tebowites as well...
