Would Gordon get a ring regardless of the outcome? I know this happened with Bengie Molina in 2010. Went from SF to Texas. Giants beat the Rangers in the WS. Molina still got a ring.

Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy.

It's up to the team but in the past they gave the ex- player a ring if they contributed during the season.

AB won't get a ring in case that's the next question.

Imagine in this scenario: Seahawks up by 5 late in the 4th quarter. They need one more first down to get them to kneel downs, but it's 3rd and 13. Carroll goes aggressive and they try to pass for it. Wilson to Gordon, COMPLETE for 15! But Gordon FUMBLES, Collins picks it up and rumbles 40 yards for the TD!

Then Gordon gets a Patriots SB ring in the mail. Brutal.

Sorry to derail this conversation a bit, but it's somewhat relevant to the Gordon scenario detailed a few posts above..........

After the Saints beat the Colts to win a championship in the Super Bowl (44?), one headline read something like this...........

"As a boy Peyton Manning dreamed of one day throwing a Super Bowl-winning touchdown for the New Orleans Saints. On Sunday he did just that."

And who knows.........maybe even AB would get a ring.........I would vote against that but it's worth noting that Terry Glenn got a ring in 2001.

Craptastic thread

You think about odd things. But that’s okay.

Even if he’s on the team?

Glenn (RIP) at least played in 4 games that year and caught a critical go ahead TD against the Chargers before going AWOL.

Since bread is cut in squares, why is sandwich meat round?

If a train leaves Boston at 4 pm traveling 110 mph....

“Long time listener, first time caller. I’ll hang up and take your comments off-air.”

I'll bet you two bucks and a trip to ole orchard spa that he doesn't.
