At least a FG. Imagine if they took the lead at the start of the 2nd half after the way the game started. Not gonna get mad at Jules, he was doing what he always does. Plays hard, plays to the whistle and tries to get every yard. But that fumble was a 10 point swing. Would have had at least 3, but cost us 7.We handed them 4 points with the head bob offsides.
We left another 4 points out there at the end of the half.
We handed them 7 points on the Edelman fumble.
That's 15 points without even thinking too hard.
Do you take into account points handed to NE or is this one way street the preferred route after ***** slappings? We handed them 4 points with the head bob offsides.

How the hell did Sanu get up to speed so quickly?
What'd he have, like 12 catches? Maybe he came from a similar system?

I said it above but I will say it again. The team offense is absolutely predictable right now because for a variety of reasons all related to pass protection and injuries they played the entire game from the same personnel grouping. ALL GAME (!!).
The BYE is coming at the right time to get some people healthier, coach others up and look forward to Wynn/Harry actually returning and making the offense more sustainable and diverse.

Edelman, Sanu and Watson played every offensive snap Dorsett 1 less.. think that Meyers played one.. wasn't another TE healthy???
Have thought for a while now the Pats have become very predictable..
For Defense similar, Winovich 9 snaps??
More than anything I think the Patriots defensive preparation and gameplan simply did not account for Jackson's mobility and how it changed the rules of the defense game. Late in the 3rd quarter you still had 250-300lb guys rushing upfield and losing contain on QB scrambles, when it should have been clear that the name of the game was just keeping him bottled up at all costs.
They basically stuck to the gameplan for pocket passers against the best running QB we've seen in ages.
Does "Boogeymen" get canned as a Halloween gimmick? Maybe go back to a "Do your job" type of mentality. I wouldn't mind that.
