We need to utilize zone coverage. Our OLBs can't stop the run and protect the flat, Lamar's x factor screws that up. Make Jackson push ball down field.

I dont understand how Harbaugh has his QB taking those hits ON PURPOSE. Crazy.

Yea, 1 injury and this entire offense grinds to a halt.. huge risk/reward style of offense, so far its been working for them but I'm skeptical that they can sustain this long term

This kind of reminds me of the first time the Dolphins used the Wildcat and how badly they were beaten that day by the scheme.

The thing we should all remember is what the Pats did the SECOND time they saw it.

Good job on the D delivering a 3 and out after a score. Now we need the offense to establish _something_.

I am going to be so triggered if we go 3 and out here.

Jackson prolly hurting after that hit.

Exactly.

They're focusing more on trying to contain him within the pocket than to just go for all out pressure

Right, but with all that time, he finds his guys open downfield! Hit him!

The guy is flipping fcking pancakes in that pocket.... Jesus Fcking Christ. Can someone get to that mothercker?!?!

That was the mistake we made in first few drives. Trying to go for him instead of sticking to assignment.

Lamar only made like one read on third down before he decided to take off.
Yeah, this idea that he “really wants to stay in the pocket!” I’m not seeing it.

Cyrus is gonna get cut tomorrow

Cyrus has been studying for his Series 7 since his first NFL training camp. He is prepared for life after football. No fear of getting cut.

Tower is pissed, BB better not get rid of Tower ever, he needs to retire a Patriots. Love the guy, he is a football player.

I'll repeat... the Baltimore offense is only "good" insofar as they're an unfamiliar style of offfense for their opponent to go up against. You can't practice against it. That's their advantage. They're not an offensive juggernaut.

All it takes is for Belichick and this defense to settle in to what they're seeing and if the right adjustments are made, it will neutralize Baltimore's initial advantage.

I love Donta fired up period. He makes a great contain and stuff tackle on Jackson on 3rd down to end the drive.
When you talk & walk : you get cred. Love me some HT.

Did the team not watch the WC round from last year? Chargers killed them!

Felt like it through that first quarter. You’re lying if you didn’t feel that way.

Glad to see things change a bit here. Hope they made adjustments.
Not at all. I have confidence is this team to come back.

In 2009 they were an empty suit

Lamar only made like one read on third down before he decided to take off.
Yeah the key is to bait him into running as early as possible before your rushers get too far upfield and your back end gets too far downfield. They did a great job on 3rd down by tricking him into thinking he had a lot more room to run than he did and predicting he would do what he did

Finally a nice stand by the defense!

Got to punish Lamar every single time he chooses to run... every time he makes that decision they need to make him pay with pain

High did there.

Hightower is an all time Patriot. Look at those two plays against the Seahawks and Falcons
