I said that I found it interesting that they didn’t go with a more proven lineup like Edelman, Dorsett, Meyers, and Sanu tonight considering the fact that they could’ve waited and played Harry in two weeks. That would have allowed them to have a more experienced lineup tonight while only dealing with one new receiver. It also would’ve allowed Harry another couple of weeks to prepare. He's already been practicing for two weeks now, so I'm not seeing the conflict you are seeing. If Harry being around is somehow impeding Sanu's acclimation, it's been happening all along.

As mentioned in my post, Belichick obviously didn’t feel that using 2 new receivers was a concern, so we’ll trust in his (much more proven) opinion. I simply found it to be an interesting story angle. I think it’s somewhat rare that you see 2 new receivers, particularly right before a two week break.
I loved the pick and even predicted him to be our desired choice over the other popular options. I was not surprised in the least that he was the selection. I think he’s going to do well in our system, and hopefully that starts this season.Feeling oddly optimistic about this guy, right out of the gate. It’s probably the fan in me more than logic, but what are you gonna do.
Doing any of what things? Having more experienced WRs on the field tonight? Breaking one guy in and then breaking the other guy in over a longer period of time with the bye approaching? Not having to rely on 2 new receivers in a tough SNF game on the road?I'm still struggling to grasp how activating Harry gets in the way of doing any of those things.
God I hope soHe’s going to play lights out.

Also, your responses suggest that I’m complaining about it when I’m not. I said that I found it to be interesting, seeing as how they’re choosing to deal with two new receivers tonight.
Well, our version of that produced 23 yards last week, so I’m guessing that’s due to a difference in offensive systems, QB trust and timing, and possibly talent. I don’t think you can name too many times where the Pats have had a brand new receiver come in during the middle of the week and produce 100+ yards. I don’t think it’s the greatest comparison.49ers seemed to rely on their receiver they acquired the same time we got Sanu on thursday night and he had over 100+ yards.

He scored a TD in both games. They seemed to do a better job of getting him some set plays in his debut. I don’t think you can compare the way SF does business with the way that NE does, but that’s obviously just my opinion. And Sanders had 25 yards his 1st game with the 49ers...so it's no so different in comparing 1st games.

Chad Bethel Dobson. Here's to hoping this isn't the beginning of Aaron Dobson 2.0.
