Nothing but respect for you BGC. I'd invite you to look at the Jets Suck thread in the lighter tone in which I view it, just a bit of fun. The world, even the football corner of it, needs all the laughs it can get.

Agreed, that said one needs to approach critiquing something someone else is emotionally invested in with a bit more circumspection than simply urinating on it or searching out their triggers.

I may be a bit of hypocrite here bc I love the love the fun part abt sports. Its only a game, not that serious. So I definitely agree w you there.

Probably a bad example but I think its low hanging fruit. Which theres nothing wrong w at times.

Brother, it's the Jete. The fruit may be low but the harvest is somehow both abundant and constant, truly a gift from the football Gods. Who are we to question their ways. While we bask in our reverence for what Football Odin has bestowed on us in the person of The Hooded One we shouldn't fail to appreciate what Football Loki has provided us in the form of the Jete.

Well, I KNOW you're not talking about me, beautiful queen...since I spent my college years breaking down film with the coaching staff at BU, playing division 1. As for insight into the game, I've been immersed in NFL football since 1960, lived with three Patriot players on the East Side of Providence during the Grogan years, held a press pass for 6 seasons to the Bryant campus during the Bledsoe years and ran TWO Patriot websites when Ian was just getting this one off the ground. Keep talking about YOURSELF though BaconLucretiaBorgia...it's so very illuminating.
