sure

This is great new for us. We gain $1M in cap space, and a player that we didn't want is going to the NFC, rather than to one of our competitors.

And it gives the 49ers something else to ponder, baby.

The subtext here is pretty obvious I would say..

I think the big issues are the inability to catch slants and the lack of speed.

If he is semi-healthy with his talent, costing $1M for the remainder of the season and likely yielding a comp pick, there’s no way he gets passed by 20+ teams. There have to be non-football issues, or locker room issues. Have you seen the money and draft picks teams pay for even marginal WRs right now?

Pot's legal in Washington, right?

Or twos and nines, but he’s right, I’m sorry to say. I guess he was more like Ocho than I thought.

He passed a physical so it looks like he's pretty healthy. As far as comp picks go I would assume a lot of the teams higher in the waiver order are going to be spending in the offseason so I don't know if the comp pick would factor in. I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if there is some non football issue but it looks like it may just be that he is an average receiver.

If Gordon fails his physicals with Seattle, what happens then? Is our cap recoup now protected no matter what now since he was claimed?

Folks couldn't understand why we didn't want him as one of our 6 WR's. Is the situation the same in SEA. Did they have 5 other WR's that they liked.
Why would Folk care about being a WR? He's a kicker.

Read Brady threw a get together and Gordon was a no show which landed him on the sh*tlist, and that was that.

I mean once he gets over his injuries he could be a good fit for the Seahawks. He will be able to do more of what made him a star years ago which is be a deep option and win contested balls.

He never truly was a great fit in this offense because even when he was free deep Brady often went to higher percentage options.

Which is too bad. Would have been a great story.
Agree with this. TB is so anal with his perfect complicated route running that raw talents like JG are wasted in that system.

Glad to see Josh not ending up in a sh*thole like NJ. Seattle is a good team, with a good coach and QB. Hope he has a banner rest of season with Seattle.

Lol at posters happy about the <$1M in cap space gained, which is just an indication of how poorly managed the offense has been this year.

Reports are he was lazy here. Maybe RahRah Pete will put up with it?

Regardless, thank jesus he's out of the conference.

Why? What does it matter?

The fact that he's going to a state that loves its legal pot is concerning.

Can you provide any links?

Im not doubting, i just haven't read anything saying this...

Joe Thuney will give them the ultimate hometown discount with the money saved. :D
